Yeah of course! I tried it with Flowers of Evil as an example, 3 episodes in I wrote down what I did or didn't know in a monologue kind of way, and later on it was revealed whether I was right or not, it was really fun and it helps keeping up with your own thoughts. It's nice to have a proof for yourself from a specific date before an episode is released that you had already assumed something 😁

True!!! about him being found at the train station by his partner, that in particular, I was confused about. He must've noticed that he's so completely off. And if they've been doing drug cases and they specialize in it for years then surely they'd get the idea by now, seeing him acting out of character, losing his composure, acting like a ticking time bomb.

But just like you said I think that his partner is clever enough to be sniffing around and to sense it. I hope I won't be disappointed in his potential – either him ending up not being that important, or ending up dead... please don't hurt him... 🥲 I'm not saying this out of some sort of crush, only that he genuinely seems like he could be a good character. All in all, this really grabbed my attention. I like your predictions. I always make notes for myself and have fun being proven both right or wrong on my theories 😆

I expect people may complain that 2nd episode was mostly talk.... But I actually enjoy these mental battles sooooo much. 1st episode's drugged moments were hard for me to digest — I was so disoriented but actually in a good way.... ? though it made me feel dizzy 😂😂 But this is EXACTLY something I'm down for. This type of story and acting. Bring it on.

I'm scared people who don't go purposely for psychological crime thrillers yet decide to watch this for some reason, will just end up rating it low because to them it'll feel like nothing much is going on unlike us who came here for this specifically. 🥲 But we'll see 🔥

Yup, indeed. I as an anime watcher sometimes need to force myself to turn off my brain and just enjoy and love the characters despite those weird acts of theirs 😅 It is what it is 🤦‍♀️

The movie is created precisely according to an original material which is manga and anime afterwards.... but that being said, this type of logic occurs very often in this sort of japanese material, specifically. One that I don't understand either.

Absolutely agreed! There are only so many standards and preferences for people.... usually a story with mostly attractive leads just gains more sympathy and makes it easier for People to get invested in it. Somehow. 🤷‍♀️

Oh I hear you. For me it doesn't always predict good vibes even if it IS a trope/feature I usually prefer. Here it just feels like exactly what I needed (so far), and I definitely prefer it over romance dramas where the romance between main leads developes within first 3 eps...that loses the point for me and I can't take their connection and feelings seriously. Despite that, I get that even in your favorite genres you just run into something that doesn't feel like IT 🤷‍♀️

I'm glad atleast there are no cute slow motion reactions and when he suddenly visited her office, their reactions were just soooo genuine and mostly how normal people would express themselves in that moment. The way they talk to each other feels almost as if their lines aren't even from a script, it's just watching two people talk, and I need more of that. Besides I feel like it's quite apparent she already had a week spot for him back in the day when he was a student, according to her fluttering whenever he's around. 😁
We'll see, maybe you'll find something that'll get you excited, or in a few episodes they'll ruin the feeling I have now and get it messed up or dumb...😆

Thank god the romance is slow, we're 2 episodes in.... out of 16.... If they already kissed, expressed feelings and got together, what would be happening for the next 14 eps...? there's no rush! 😅🙏 Let's give things time to grow and to surprise us.

As much as I see why she'd think that his decision is irrational and could jeopardise his future (if we're talking about degrading yourself regarding the career ladder), that still gives her absolutely zero right to intervene into his results and manipulating her colleague into rejecting him. Outside of that I like her character and she feels much more relatable than many other FLs I've seen. But you do not control other person's life. You can express your concern, your opinion, explain why you disagree, try to direct them elsewhere... But that's the line. You don't do life changing things behind their back and deciding their future so that it's to your own preference and to make it fit to your perfect picture. It's their decision and even if it hurts to see them go that way. I daily witness my friends act in a way I disapprove of, but I let them, cause they're responsible for their own happiness and the maximum I can do is try talk them out of it, not manipulating them for the sake of my righteousness.

The difficulty is probably that it's all talk, formalities, administrative things/conflicts. Which many people seem to not be into. To me it's a blessing cause that's exactly what I love, to me it's the precise amount of mellow (in a good way). To others it might feel like a background for dozing off...😅🥲

so far everything about it is very intriguing. I'm very interested. Maybe because it all looks unusually realistic, the conversations are normal and not emotionally exgaggarated, it's like a sice of life pacing with ordinary people. I almost don't feel like I'm watching actors (in a good way). I don't think I can even compare it to anything, but I'm definitely going for this. I like the academics area aswell.

I'm finding myself in a similar place.
I like all the main police crew, each one of them, they're so cute and dorkey and funny... but I don't feel too invested in the story. I liked the first 3 episodes a lot and I was convinced it'll be my cup of tea. I like the production and the humor. I just feel the need to "skip" way too often.... 😥

Oh I was thinking of starting Taxi Driver but from what I understand LJH's character there is also a somewhat comedy relief? I thought that it's a more serious ish drama 😶
