I agree 100% with your commentary.
AND I love how DEATH is explored and naturalised with FULL empathy and dignity and the bereavement it entails. It's NOT easy to show this nuanced response to a plot that you know WILL deal with a lot of death .. BUT it doesn't weight it down or drag it into 'cringe' / 'makjang' territory but makes it soar free ..
I could write an entire essay on the layers of meaning feelings expressions that ripple through .. NEVER seen such an EPIC KISS scene .. the COMMUNICATION that happened through those LIPS and FACES and Palms and Heads LOL

That frown crease was a 'danger alert' throughout. He's cold, he's upset, he's angry and his buried 'fight NOT flight' reaction plays out like back in school .. needed that ONE nutty bully character for him to vent!!

Thank God I didnt read ANYTHING about the show .. JUST the poster did it for me BUNGEE JUMPED .. and then discovered its Li Xian and Zhou Yu Tong and this gem!!

AND O LORD Mercy me!! NO INNER VOICE dialogues popping up .. phew!! It's SO easy to infer .. and it's "show .. don't tell" through and through ;-p
Will mark out any drama he is picked for.
