"Meet Yourself" for me ended up looking more like a travel and social development documentary .. at 40 episodes it meandered too much for me and I lost sight of the "drama" ..
I remember being SOLIDLY gripped AND sooo excited by the first few episodes of MY but it fizzled away lost ALL its tension build up which was there in the early eps..
It's definitely has its appeal for those who are looking for that feel.
WLIS is more my cuppa .. balances the inner life of the protagonists and doesn't lose sight of it as the prime story line even as it slides and slips over their external lives .. skims and dances over the supporting cast .. builds up the details of what makes them .. made them become who they are ..
It's rich in its drama and has me absolutely hooked studying each of their (ML & FL) expressions .. body language .. words .. reactions and behaviours ..

I just raised Zhou Yu Tong to Goddess of acting and Li Xian - he come far playing this MATURE role so suited to his mien and talent.
All the aegyo - the silly - the inane - the fluff - the cringe has been laundered out of this slice of life REAL, ADULT Drama which DOES NOT shy away from exploring what a REAL romance feels like.
Fertilizer for the mind - this!!! Unique setting too.

After so so so LONG a drama that's filling up my heart like gurgling warm water.
I am 100% sure this is going to stay elevated at 10/10 evenly.
They havent PADDED it with ANYTHING unnecessary till now.
It's VERY different .. IMO
It has Li Xian and a VERY GOOD actress in it too ..
But their potential as was frittered away :-(
