You have to wonder: are these girls naturally spiteful, or do they act like that because girls in media act like that and they are taught that's how girls should behave?
I also strongly disagree about chill girls being a "minority." I am also a woman and I encountered some drama in middle school, but once I reached high school and college aged I met a lot of strong, supportive, kind women along the way. I'd like to see more women like that in BL. Most BLs reek of misogyny.
So Hee really needs to chill. I enjoy this show but the continued trope of the only female in the show being hateful and conniving is disappointing. I've seen worse though and I do think she can turn around in the last act.

pitch and bank are definitely my favorite right now. their chemistry is great! Boat, the actor who plays Sun, is definitely the best actor in the show. I think this is his first BL, but certainly not his first drama! And I agree that they need to give Juno and Toktang a happy ending
This show is surprisingly compelling for such a simple concept. It seems like everyone has an unrequited crush: Shin Woo on Tae Kyung, So Hee on Daon, Shi Woon on So Hee. At this point, it seems like Daon and Tae Kyung are mutually into each other, but I hope it's Tae Kyung and Shin Woo in the end. It's keeping me on my toes!
i don't know if it's because i've watched some really well-done stuff this week but this episode seemed particularly bad and i loved it haha
they couldn't have bothered to overdub those violinists with something a little less... cacophonous? DOES NO ONE BOTHER TO TUNE ANY INSTRUMENTS AROUND HERE? i can put up with a lot, but the cut to those girls playing the terribly out of tune piano and guitar gave me the willies. also... gun's lip syncing. hooooo boy.
egregious sins against music aside, this was a cute, chaotic episode. the dashcams in the cars made me laugh out loud. they looked like vloggers lmao

finally, i would like to give sky props for actually doing chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth. ofc not until he shook sun around a bit first... but at least he didn't break out the cold towels. we stan a CPR trained king.

I like to rewatch shows, but I also like to get weekly installments of new stuff. It's fun, and I discuss with friends.
And not that I have to defend my tastes, but my faves are ATOTS, 3WBF, MOD, and Trapped. So... I don't just watch the cheese.
Obviously I'm not shutting off any part of my brain. That's an expression LOL I just mean I don't have to think very hard about it. I can take it at face value, laugh at silly moments, think about it for an hour, and then put it away until the next episode comes.

There is room for cheesy, campy shows. Not everything has to be groundbreaking. Sometimes I just want to shut my brain off for a bit and enjoy something silly and fun. It doesn't make me or anyone else a moron, as your comment implies.
Thus far, this show is well-made cheese. And that's okay. It knows what it is, and it delivers on that. And so far, it includes a lot of the heartwarming tropes without many of the more problematic tropes that appear in these shows. I appreciate that.
And Lovely Writer, imho, ended on a sour note because they set a precedent for healthy communication and did some really well-done drama mid-season, then introduced a new conflict in the final act and resolved it with something tonally inappropriate, that felt like it took the characters back many many steps of development.
That's what I mean - I think this show does cheese and tropes well, and they should stick to that. And maybe you think it's "bad" as it is - but I will continue to enjoy it for more than just Gun's lips or Boat's body.

I liked him enough when he was just a brat, but now they've shown us the other side of him and I'm soft for it. The chemistry between him and Sun is on point. And Pitch and Bank seem like they'll be a fun side couple. Seems like Pitch already has a crush. Cute.
this waaaay is better than i thought it'd be. i love it already - great dynamic between Sun and Sky, great side characters, fun and campy. petition for sugus (peach) to play earth pirapat's brother in an upcoming series. they look a lot alike to me! i've got this show connected with KinnPorsche in my mind, so it's very funny to me that the actor who plays Type's dad is in this one, and the actor who plays Tharn's dad is in KinnPorsche. I can't wait for next week! Is it Wednesday yet??
