these teacher student fictions are almost always aimed at the student pow. They are sex fantasies of the wish fulfilment sort that teenagers have about their teachers during puberty, that many carry into adult life of neetdom or unhappy marriage where high school is the happiest time of their life in retrospect.

Japan despite their aging population is obsessed with high school time period in both drama and anime for a reason.
