It's always so nice to read your comments! I like how you think positive for Seven's projects and show your support for her. You are right. I need to stop reading the novel. I believe they will change at least 50% of the story to pass censorship and not to damage the reputation of the ML actor.

Yes, I was reading the novel half way and can't continuing because I can't imagine zxc in this role! I adore zxc as xiao ge and hope they have a 2nd collab some day but I am so used to seeing him as a easygoing, soft, and intellectual character which is nothing like this ML!

Yeah, that makes sense. I remember DingYuXi was rumor to be ML in Brocade Odyssey too and then it got changed. That's too bad. But it's good she stay away from LHR's manager.

The novel is a rebirth setting but base on this drama adaptation synopsis, it sounds like it will not be about rebirth when it mentioned Jialan took the identity of the Lanxiang who died of illness. I think that makes more sense.

I read part of the book and I really hope they change the character of the male lead. He is abusive and a narcissistic. It will be hard to find a ML to take this role. It took over 250 chapters for ML to show some respect for FL. The FL is aways passive and depressed and it will be a different role for Seven. I am just hoping the adaptation can show a nicer Lin Jin Lou. I do like many works of the screenwriter though. Scarlet heart is one of my favorite drama.
Hope it's like the Sword and the Brocade where they decreased to 3 concubines and the husband is more romantic than the book version 😄.

You should continue. There is more romance after episode 25. The post-marriage scenes are the sweetest part.

I agree, the drama would do better if they added more interactions between the FL and ML. They are separated too long towards the end and it's hard to see the villians in full domination. Fortunately, it's a happy ending but I still wish they add more to it. The chemistry and love story between JYY and YJL is what makes me love the most about drama. This is definitely one of the better drama I see this year.

Ep 24, they got married and they confess their love in ep 25-26. There is a short divorce because ML wants to protect FL. No love triangle after FL and ML got together. There is an ex fiance who can't let go. Also the business friend who is obsessed with FL. FL already know they are up to no good and do not trust them. Happy ending but kinda rushed and choppy. But overall worth watching!

Wow, thanks for the synopsis. Not a fan of a man with many concubines but hopefully the the screen play can be as well written as the novel. I rather see her in a house fighting drama than another business drama. Slow in the first 100 chapter? Must be a long novel. I'm just excited it's another costume drama.

Agreed, this is the worst promotional team I've seen. The trailers doesn't do the drama justice.

My first time watching ZYC in Brocade Odyssey and he blew me away with his talent ! I am Tan Song Yun's fan but I found myself more excited when ZYC appears in the screen. He has made Yang Jing Lan a lovable and memorable character. Definitely looking forward to Kill My Sins. I hope he will be more recognized in in future dramas.

There is nothing wrong for fans to express their satisfaction to the drama. What is wrong is to attack a drama because you don't like the actress. Blossom and Brocade Odyssey should not be compared because it is completely different genres and attact different audiences. If you don't appreciate heritage and culture, then it's not the drama for you. I watched up to ep 10 of Blossom but decided not to continue because it's not my cup of tea. But that doesn't make me go their page and post rude comments.
