I am at a point where I don't care when it airs , as long as it airs. It will be too sad to think it will be shelved forever just because of a supporting actor. I feel Seven is at a disadvantage. Before, ABAY was filmed same time when many office romance drama was trending but in the end ABAY was the last office drama to get aired due to the delay. I'm trying to be optimistic too. So far everything is just talks from audio there are no actual physical evidence yet so there is still hope. I heard the plan is to air National Day in October.

I was referring the the people reporting the tax fraud and prostitution. It's too bad they don't have the consideration to wait couple months before reporting so many people won't get affected.

Why do these conspiracies always shows up before the their drama airs? I don't care about ZHW. I feel for all the production team and the other casts who all work so hard. The people who report these news are really heartless because they don't care how many innocent people they are hurting!

If I don't like a drama, I stop watching at episode 1. If the drama is interesting, I continue to episode 37. Why do you watch until ep37? Is someone forcing you to watch it?

If 40episodes too long for you, just watch the main leads and fast forward the other supporting characters. It's long because they include love stories of 3 other couples. I mainly love the drama due to Xukai and Seven...wish more than 40 episodes, can't get enough of them.

Yes, ABAY has a rewatchable value. I know I will be watching it many more times. I think I will like ABAY more too because it has more romance. I read part of the novel of Brocade Odyssey and there are not many romance...hopefully screenwriter will change that.

Finally finished the last episode and I am really in love with this drama. Although they change parts from the book, the adaptation is still very enjoyable. I am happy they include the after marriage part to make a beautiful sentimental ending. This drama has able to take audience through an emotional roller coaster thanks to the talented leading actor/actress and director. I hope they can get awards for this drama. TSY usually have good chemistry with all her male leads but she and XK is my favorite CP!

I noticed the drama is pretty consistent with the novel but after the breakup, they change so much! Fortunately, the changes are not bad so far and drama still enjoyable. But I do miss the original version of the novel.

IKR? Can't they have a men to men talk instead of a kindergarten play? It's sentimental but not realistic.

There is a part in ep 26 when JX takes HT to look at stars and JX says "I love you". Then HT says "Me too".

I think they made HT too perfect in the drama adaptation. In the book, HT never verbalize his love to JX until they get back together so one of the reasons JX have difficulty trusting him.

Agree with you. From the audience perspective, we see how much HT love JX. But he do not let JX know all the things he do for her. The drama adaptation shows HT more affectionate than the book so it's hard to criticize his character.

Agree! I am enjoying every moment they are in the same frame. I see a lot of people commenting Xu Kai's chemistry with Seven is just as explosive as Ren Jia Lun. Their interactions in the drama look so natural and not forced.
