Ok I cant relate to the amount of miscommunication between the two but I'm happy they got together. At first I thought just like Hira, that the two are way too different but at the end comes out they arent and actually look like they fit each other well :)
I think they purposely made it open for interpretation, if they decide to make a second season and Gong Yoo is willing to sign with them again they can make his character been rescued, if they want to made second season but Gong Yoo won’t take the role, they can leave the character dead.

Ok ok please put your pitchforks and torches away y’all. I just wanted to share my assumption about this. When I read that its based on a memoir but (in MY eyes) looks like a typical romance kdrama (sprinkled with action) I got a cringe reaction. Reading the first page of the comment under the drama I noticed that it is only filled with hype. And thats ofc alright. But I still wanted to share my not so positive opinion for a change and see if there are still some who also don’t hype this like me. Well I see that there are some but they are obviously not as loud as the other side. And at that note I’d like to conclude my opinion and say again I will look into the drama but with skepticism and I’ll gladly accept if it destroys my expectations but if they turn out true I just drop the drama and go on with my life.
