After ep 9, this is a real beautiful series, soothing to the heart. But I have that feeling that there will be a sad ending.. Hope not!

I find this series acceptable but I have to drop this because of bad English subtitles. I have been laboring to understand the scenes for 10 episodes and there are so many characters suddenly appearing that I think I am missing the good parts. Too bad because I don't want 60 episodes of hard watching labor, so I have to let this go.

I am not a fan of the character played by the FL from the start and it deepens in ep 19. She is annoying, Her younger brother is more mature than her. I understand the story behind her the writers may be trying to convey, but the character is not likeable, always trying to be the one in control of every situation of people around.

Finished ep 10 while waiting for the subs of 11 and 12. Well, for a relatively short 24-eps series, the first 10 eps became redundant, the same push and pull plus an annoying sister who is not too young anymore to be acting such character. The start is so cute and the FL is so pretty, but the plot drags on for 10 eps now without much to it.

Anyway, I am continuing watching, it is still bearable.

Awesome first 4 episodes! Continuous action, plot progression, and the dialogues are excellent. And the kids are lovable yet fierce. Hope this continues up to the end.

Not to compare, but I have no regrets dropping Legend of Awakening (which I find boring and lousy) and Chang'an Youth (which I find too shallow) so I could watch this and Autumn Cicada.

Wonderful series. It hurts deep deep down. Every single character has flaws and how they chose to live their life is a thought-provoking journey, worthy to be discussed and for self-reflection.

This series was made with sensitive touches, kudos to the excellent acting, music, directing, cinematography and editing! I got some emotions running in this final episode, hurting for al of the characters!

After all the heartbreaks, it is a welcome treat to see those happy faces during filming shown at the end of the series!

Finished ep 32, but I am really getting bored with the story, and the acting feels unemotionally monotonous. Thinking of dropping this but I thought I have endured 32, might as well endure the 16 remaining eps. I am kust not sure if what is in store will be better! Hoping...

On My Love, Enlighten Me May 16, 2020
Finished the first 10 episodes and didn't expect to love this, but I did. There is a strong chemistry between the leads and the plot progression is fast. And one thing I notice is the absence of super annoying, one-dimensional antagonists, which is a very welcome thing. I just recalled that Leon Leong plays an autistic in his last series Project 17, and now, he also has a condition. But he plays the characters so well, even the small expressions and actions.

But the synopsis written for this series is wrong!

Finished the series a while back and this is very well-made. Realistic ending as many TVB series are. Well-acted. Highly recommended.

Just finished ep 27 and the special episode (tagged as ep 28). Pretty decent series but I still preferred the way the two other written works of the author were made into series. What I didn't like here is the way the problem the couple faced was handled. It lessened my love for the ML I hoped to have seen more efforts from him before it was resolved.

But overall, the couple has good chemistry and all actors act naturally well. And it was a treat seeing the actors and the staff having such a great time at the end of their filming.

Finished the series just now. The story has a lot of potential. The start and ending episodes were good. There are small stories within which are nice, but the meat of the story has stark inconsistencies and the dialogues are not intelligently phrased.

Aside from that, what prevented me from fully enjoying the series are the characters of Tang Fan (great in analysis but a tad too childlike from the start till the end) and Dong'er (amazing memory but too nosy and blabbermouth for comfort). I understand that this is from a BL novel, but I can't seem to feel the friendship or brotherhood between the 3 main leads, because it seems the two others are taking care of a toddler with tantrums and inconsistent attitude.

Anyway, the production value is not cheap, the fight scenes are well-executed. So overall, it is just an OK series.

On Find Me in Your Memory May 8, 2020
After ep 29-30, I thought I would love this till the end of the series, but sadly, my personal rating for this keeps getting lower each episode. It may be because I find it draggy (the story can survive with fewer eps), or I find the characters boring (or is it the acting?). I can't relate with the chemistry of the leads I can't feel that the ML indeed fell emotionally for the FL whose character is made so naive, to say it nicely. Their moments together feel empty, and at the back of my mind, his inability to forget is lingering that him protecting her doesn't feel like love because he doesn't look that happy nor at ease. I might say, the love of the two assistants have much to it than theirs.

Anyway, these are how I feel while watching the series, it is not that bad actually, just that somewhere along the journey, my love for it slowly fades away...

Finally finished the series. After watching so many series of varied genre, I can say this is one epic masterpiece! Aside from the great story and plot progression, as well as awesome acting from the leads to the ensemble cast. (making to good use those intelligent dialogues and directing) I am bewitched by the grandiose Peking Opera and felt the heartbreaking deaths, separation and effects of war.

I can't forget those arrogant opera masters who suffer their misfortunes late. Their characters are made complex that my heart breaks for them. The music is haunting. Overall, I deeply enjoyed this excellent journey.

Oh gosh, after the last scene in ep 12 of TWOTM, this last scene of ep 4 of this series gives me goosebumps. This is such an excellent series too. I initially love the older version of the leads, but the younger version is also growing in me now, they also have an undeniable chemistry. (never mind the height, he got a lot taller). Anyway, this is such a beautiful series, it may remind some viewers of our first love that we can never forget.

I may have missed those parts but I am confused about the character of the girl who likes Zhao Fan. At first I thought she is also a Forensic Science student. It turns out she is a Medical student? She's also in the Student Council, anywhere where an annoying character is needed, she is there. Then she suddenly sprouts as an intern in a large hospital? and in what year level is she actually? And most appalling is she can easily get hold of the results of a sensitive lab exam, manipulate the results, as if it is just an ordinary paper that can easily be secured, again, she is an intern.!
