Just finished watching. I seldom make comments regarding dramas I watched, but this one was so beautifully made. The slow pacing will later on prove that they are genuinely building up emotions and establishing the characters that will explode to a very strong emotional response in the end. The connection between the characters and the viewers by then will be so strong, I myself cannot count how many times I teared up while watching the latter part. Excellent series!
Just finished watching. And honestly I would give this more than a 10 rating. So beautifully crafted story with multidimensional characters. Inspirational with so much heartfelt and heartbreaking moments.
Just finished ep 27, and all I can say is this is one of those few series that can make me binge-watch straight, without skipping, and still the entirety of the experience very enjoyable. Looking forward to the next season. Kudos to the acting of the whole cast and the chemistry of the leads. 10/10
After ep 24, it is quite slow-paced, almost boring, so many full songs showing flashbacks. The ML is too soft, I find it difficult to connect with his character, though he is an eye-candy. The FL can act but she is so restrained. At this point, I just want to know what happened to the FL's family business years back and the comeuppance of the antagonists. Watchable but not that great.
I just started this because I am following a number of other series (almost didn't start this series actually). But 9 eps in and this is shaping up to be one, if not my favorite series of the year. Can't believe this is very-well made and the acting is superb. Hope this continues until the end! Ep 7 made me cry (not so many series can move me that well). Kudos to the production!
Finally finished the series, and it was underwhelming for me. I should have just watched the first and the last 2 eps. The acting is fine, but the story was too bland.
After 6 eps, I so love this series very much! From the characters, to the story flow, the music, this series is giving me a breath of fresh air, despite what they have been going through.
i love the Taiwanese and the 2018 Chinese version. For this version, the first episode has a bit too much violence, almost the entire student population became blind pawns in making fun and violence. The red card has become a symbol for other students to start the dirty work of violent bullying.
This is short 16 eps, so it will flow pretty fast. Gorya can act, Thyme is trying, the F4s are eye candies, the cinematography is excellent. We will see in succeeding eps how they tweak the story to suit the Thai culture.
After ep 33, I thought this will be an excellent drama showcasing the strength of a woman who rises up. True it is happening, but the showcase is not her ascent to the top, but more on how fragile her heart is in terms of love, and the ML who is so weak in character! The story is tainted by the melodramatic romance.
Well, 7 eps to go, we'll see how this will end. But my running rating for this series has gone down.
Just finished ep 24. The story runs well and the acting is superb. But this is not for those who dislike seeing the leads suffer so much, and who knows what the future eps offer. I believe there would be some sort of revenge (hopefully), in that case it should be tagged later. Waiting for ep 25.
I am just in ep 4, but the story is becoming so engaging that I wanna slap some characters esp Xuetang. But I must say that the actress playing Baoqin is delivering some very good acting, so heartfelt. Ok, back to watching, this is addicting!
Just finished the series. It is actually a good story, but the many scenes are hyper extended and dragged, maybe to accommodate the number of episodes. And it is mostly about Song Bai Yu and the actor played the role too well. Almost all characters are multi=layered, we can feel the emotion of each of them. Nice watch!
After 7 eps, I am really liking this series. Not too complicated, and the characters are developing well. And of course I am loving that positive feels. Hope this continues until the story reaches the present times, obviously, the time set of these earlier episodes are years back, and the retro feel of the production is nice to see.
Finally was able to finish the series. All the love I had for Seasons 1 and 2 were shattered by this season. It seems that all available drama tropes are included here. The writer pushes the limit to create that "what? and wow!" experience in almost every scene but it makes the series laughable with exaggeration and beyond realism. All the plot twists are forced that everything becomes tiresome. Hope the writer rests her mind, it seems she ran out of creative ideas to make the last season memorable and great! 7/10
But I have to mention the great soprano voices behind the characters. Hope they are given due credit. Love those immaculate voices!
After ep 34-35, why do I feel like the writing is making the FL so desperate? I had that feeling since the engagement proposal, and now here after the break up. Come on writers, the male characters here are written as all high and mighty.
