This series is way better than I expected. I enjoyed the last episode (maybe I am in a good mood). The plot is believable and the acting, is quite okay, the actors are not over the top.
The plot is getting weirder and weirder each episode. Now after ep 83, I find the writing going in circles just to fit the 120 eps. And the characters are written like they are from another dimension, eyebrow-raising characterizations.
Ep 21 is full of hearts, if there is a great way of using new technology in matters of the heart, that is so ingenious, love it! The main couple is killing their roles, their natural acting gives them a very strong chemistry!
Dramacool is stealing subs from other sites, don't promote it here. I have been patiently waiting for the subs from the subber productive procratinator, as a thanks to the effort. Just watched ep 8 now. The drama is really good.
I love ep 9 and 10. Kim Do Gi character is so versatile and the actor nails the variety. And Madam Lin actress is evil but I love the actress's portrayal! But at this point, I still don't feel the Kang Ha Na character.
After ep 14, a typical shallow, one dimensional drama where the story progresses but the characters are not being developed. Thus, we just see the villains doing every bad thing the writer can think of, and the main characters having all sorts of bad luck and many times being helpless and dumb. I believe this will continue for many more episodes possibly till the near end.
Solid first ep. The plot is easy to follow (it is just frustrating when some series over complicate their plot progression) and the acting is good, the leads' bickering is fun to watch. Eagerly waiting for the next ep!
Despite waiting for a long time for the subtitles, I was so impressed with the first two eps. The story, the direction and the veteran actors did their excellent job in making the action and suspense interwoven with emotional punches. Eagerly waiting for the next eps.
Just finished ep 8 and I have to say I am liking this much better than Storm Eye which I just recently finished. The plot and story progression is much intense and the acting is so good. Hope this continues till its end.
After ep 25, the FL needs some growing up now, she is so stubborn but she needs to be saved all the time in order to survive, but she keeps being stubborn. Anyway, I may get to like her character later, but not yet. At this point, Leyan, despite her being a crybaby, was able to survive using her skill.
Anyway, a long way to go, but I am loving the story.
School bullying happens everywhere but why do I see violent and almost identical school bullying scenes in many Korean series, plus those history of bullying against several Korean stars in the news. I wonder how prevalent is the intense bullying in their culture because these are recurring scenes in many K-series, (and the school doing nothing). Well psychopath characters are also prevalent in K-series.
Anyway, I love this series, revenge is my cup of tea!
With a one week break, I just wanna commend Song Joong Ki's dramatic moment in ep 16. it is so damn good! Even with a stoic face, he delivers action, comedy and drama. And Ok Taec Yeon gives justice to his evil role, he is annoyingly excellent.
This is one series I will re-watch because the anger and stress of the viewers do not linger, swiftly swept away by the ingenuity of the leads and the group!
I don't care much about what others think because I watch shows based on how I feel about it. This one is surprisingly good for me. The story is nice and has depth and the acting is decent, no robotic actors. What I also find amusing is they do away with the stereotype characters (car repair, sewing, make up scenes, etc.).
During the childhood scenes, I see it as children forming a strong bond and attachment with peers and separation having a strong effect on them. Anyway, I belatedly discovered this series and binge-watched the available 7 eps and am hooked!
After ep 57, my confusion on the character developments is getting bigger. The writers are trying so hard to mess up with the characters that the earlier eps and the kids constant appearance seem out of place. Anyway, I am continuing at 1.5x speed so that an ep comes and goes in a breeze.
Finished the series, actually just skimmed through the scenes in the later episodes because the plot is just so simple, nothing much to miss out. The production's choice to use the past for most part and the present for around 5 minutes each ep doesn't click for me, it ruins my watching experience because there is not much to maintain that cycle.
The FL is very pretty but she needs to hone her acting skills. She is just blurting out her dialogues without much emotion, so wooden. The ML is better in acting.
One ep to go and it is still the same. I was wondering why the need to drag to so much eps the same thing, and I happened to look at the writer. So she used to write daily and weekend long dramas, she might have thought that this has the same number of eps as her 256-eps long Miss Mermaid (sarcasm intended).
Anyway, I am watching this 2x the speed just to get the gist of the story, no more expectations.
