Thanks for sharing! Yes WL has done a fabulous job! Even I cant imagine any other actor playing Ashile Sun! I am looking forward to all his dramas now.. What an actor!!
yes, i think it could also be called micro expression. so rare watching actor who could do this micro expression,…
Yes I've seen it! Love that interview! on a side note.. Wu Lei is studying at Beijing Film Academy (his last year) and he had presented an acting piece virtually to be evaluated by the prof.. The prof has given a resounding review to WL.. Saying that he is a very thorough and nuanced actor and he can get into the skin of the character(something along those lines).. So a lot of people praised him coz BFA is the best uni for arts and getting such praise from a prof is very rare and commendable.. Also since I am already fangirling about WL.. WL placed first in over 30000 students in the entrance of Beijing Film Academy in 2018. And since then his high score is still undefeated... Okay I shall stop here.. You can just like the comment, I have spammed you enough with so many replies and comments :P
You have once again hit the nail on the head!! Spot on.. One of the reasons I love TLB.. No unnecessary extra…
Yes.. Most scriptwriters are very lazy with their stories.. They tend to stick to the 'villain is evil hero is good' black and white mode.. This drama has managed to forego all the tropes and the tried and tested formulas..
(Accompanied by background music playing in peaceful scenes, the camera slides over the wide grassland and a cute…
Ha ha ha ha.. I was thinking the same.. I did not expect you to reply to all my replies! But then I am enjoying this so lets just seamlessly increase the comments even if its not our intention..
'With these waters we boil at the bottom of the sea, it seems that the water level on the surface will indeed rise.' - super analogy!! :D

Yep! At first I am too busy reading the subtitles.. Its only after the scene is over that I realise something special has happened and then rewind and watch it in detail.. His crying at his mothers death and when he kneels down and just smiles and nods his head telling his mother this humiliation is fine.. That scene also took my breath away.. He dint have to say anything.. Its like all the emotions could be felt by us.. Also when he throws that crossbow after struggling whether to kill She'er.. Just fantastic..
One thing I like about this show is that misunderstandings don't turn into bottomless wells. In the beginning,…
Ha ha yeah.. You would think its common sense to find shelter :P.. I cant stand the helpless female protagonist.. If you have noticed I don't write much about Le Yan.. Well because I don't like such character tropes.. The crying, whiny, helpless, butter-won't-melt-in-my-mouth, dainty, goody-goody FL's are the ones I run away from.. One of the reasons why I have watched a lot of American shows growing up.. Even with Asian dramas I don't watch the ditzy dumb clumsy helpless FL dramas..
You noticed the power of the grassland boys kicks right? I remember.. was mentioned about AS's kicks here. The…
ohh yes how could I forget! I am sure a lot of viewers would have felt uncomfortable with that.. But that just how A'Sun is.. My woman no harm or you die (tried putting it as the primitive dialogue coz that's how A'Sun becomes when it comes to Changge)

Yes! Plus it will draw in a lot of people.. Nobody wants to see so much evil when we are already dealing with so many things in the outside world! So very clever of the screenwriters to soften the characters, make them more human and approachable..

Ohh trust me! One of the reasons I have stopped watching Indian dramas.. Since young I have avoided all those draggy serials and the agonising misunderstanding tropes.. I only watch the limited episodes Indian series..

Ha ha ha thanks!! 🙈 Okay since we are on this topic.. A little sadist of me.. But the fact that a man like A'Sun (who is quite the proper gentleman) will brute force kick a lady and send her flying across the courtyard because she threatened his woman! Phew! Ooooooff!! Woof woof!! Amazing! Wiping sweat from the forehead and tamping down the sleazy smile.. 😝🙈
You probably know my obsession with martial arts here. Especially the ASXSheer duel in ep 23 was a highlight for…
Ha ha yes.. His expression when he said how can I lose to Shu Yu in front of you? And I wont even say (let alone fight) that I will marry her(LY) - priceless!!
Wow! Whoa! Brilliant observation.. Now that you've written it; I realise that I was absolutely immersed in the…
Yep.. This drama is as real as it gets.. Though there is one flying scene.. When A'Sun jumps on the roof and then lands in the courtyard to save Changge at Liuyan temple.. A little unbelievable but palatable only because its A'Sun the gorgeous!
