Well, it's definitely not as good as American shows and movies, but it's also not completely unbearable like Chinese…
sometimes Chinese wuxia is okay.. like Wu Xin the monster killer, has terrible CGI.. but if you love the characters like I did( they were so fun), you probably will barely notice lol (the underlying story is actually sad ...but up until the ending, it's very funny and just fun to watch them)
It's sad S. Korea main roles mostly go to 'perfect beauties'.. Kim Seul Gi is very cute and EXTREMELY talented at being funny and at acting in dramas.. I hope she gets a good drama
This was, and still is, one of my favorite Kdramas.. It was my first drama with Gong Hyo Jin as main female lead.. and wow! I like So Ji Sub's character later in the drama.. at first he is the typical rich, handsome jerk.. I loved this couple later so much!!!
I didn't really like Seo In Guk's character, but it didn't kill the drama for me.. He is a great actor, but I just didn't like his character here so much.
Just to give anyone an idea about this drama: If you like supernatural stuff, halloween themes(spooky stuff), you'll have fun with this drama..
This and Oh My Ghostess are my two favorite spooky Kdramas..
I've watched this one 3 times and Oh My Ghostess 2 times( and I know I'll watch them both even more lol)
Just try to ignore So Ji Sub's character being silly in the first episodes and you'll enjoy it ;)
actually, you probably didn't read the novel, so you don't know this.. but her char is more revengeful/evil in the novel.. so they toned it down for the drama, but she acted the character like it was meant to be . (after saying this, I should also mention that I liked the character in the novel more, but the drama version is very good too in my opinion) she is a good actress
you can add his page if you know his name..or if he is on mydramalist already, you can add him like that
up at the top, to the right of 'kisskh', move your mouse cursor on people and then click 'Add New Person' (if on a phone, it might be different though)
After you add the person and the mods approve it..
find this drama page again and find the 'Cast & Credits' section, then click 'Add Cast' on the top right corner
What is the moral of the story ? So she loved her enemy... and she'd rather suicide than revenge; rather suicide…
I couldn't get into this drama because of those ideas.. but I think if I was in her position and loved him, suicide might be the only thing I could do also.. Think of trying to forget and live.. it would be torture unless you became numb to everything. The person you love is still out in the world.. and he killed your loved one.. you want to kill him, but you can't because you love him.. you would be filled with too many emotions.. love for him, hate for him, self-hate, bitterness, anger, self-pity.. and that wouldn't even be all of it.
I really can't think of a way to live with all that.. (I'm not saying your wrong, I just really can't think of a way without feeling torture everyday)
This is why I couldn't watch the female lead naively falling for the male lead after amnesia.. if I put myself in her shoes, the emotions would be too much when she finally remembered
....so am I taking this story too seriously? yeah , it got to me lol
The novel is untranslated I believe.. name: 有匪 Bandits author: Priest
info taken from ChocolateCosmos's post on a novel updates forum page..
"In a nutshell, there are these two "countries" (they're really states), the Northern and the Southern. The female lead resided in the central area where there is no war. I think she kinda live in a tribe-group like setting. Since her childhood, she hasn't experienced much with war and stuff, but that eventually changed when her dad got invited to join the Southern side. (Btw this is all within the first couple of chapters. I'm not really spoiling the story here.) As for the male lead, he's someone she met along the way and helped her out in sticky situations. He helped her grow into someone with power and strength in jianghu. She's the type to stand up for friends and seek out adventures. "
omg finger crossed Zhang Ruo Yun .... is this based on Joy of Life novel ..... i dropped that story after reading…
I was curious too.. it doesn't seem like the book's plot, but because China bans so many things in movies/dramas, they would have to change the story quite a bit sooo... Idk, but I hope so
..well Erudite seems to thinks so.. so I guess it it based on the book lol
Wow, so they punish the public just because of this!? How long will they withhold dramas to make some sort of…
a lot of asian countries love to use that method, so you're prob right.. especially because its China (and no I don't hate asian countries, I actually love them.. but media censorship and controlling the people like they do gets pretty bad sometimes)
You should watch this NOW :)

Don't listen to negative reviews.. just watch it and also watch City Hunter ;)
