This drama deserves a minimum of 8.0 , (max any), 7.6 is too low.
This wasn't not that bad as people say so.

My favourite epi is epi 12.

Switch to different series : dramas from other countries or web series or anime or donghua or maybe read mangas??

I too can't stick to one thing forever, I rotate them...do what I feel like doing at that drama.

I am very picky. If at a time I don't want to watch drama, then even if someone asks me to watch a drama I previously loved, I won't like it at all.

I will suggest you to judge the series yourself, it's better if you go open minded and watch it as a standalone drama, completely unrelated to PA, don't compare the 2, you may end up liking it.
I am at epi 10 and am still looking forward to it.

Same here in my case, watched some episodes of PA in the past but don't remember much now, didn't read the novel, didn't link it to PA sequel and watched it as standalone drama.
I have watched till epi 10 and so far loved it. 30 more to go, let's see if I will continue loving it!!

This is the first downrated drama I chose to watch, otherwise I only watch dramas having 7.8 and above.
And I am glad I didn't take into account the negative ratings and started watching it anyway.

I will judge the series myself.

I am Not watching it as a continuation, but stand alone. Currently at episode 3 , so far I liked it . I would have dropped it if it didn’t hook me even after watching till epi 3.

Although ratings are poor but I would like to judge it for myself.

Somethings I liked so far :
Snowy backdrop
FL (I have watched her shows like perfect match, the long ballad etc & I liked her)
Fight scenes
LYR , Although he hasn't appeared much yet
Zhao Chun'er , the princess (liked her in fated hearts)

Edit: watched till epi 10 , still don't dislike it.

I have watched douluo Continent (with Xiao Zhan as Tang san ), and entire donghua. When it was first released I didn’t like it but I am thinking of giving it a chance after watching Zhou yi ran in generation to generation and ashes to crown where I really really liked him.
Also by now I know some othr actors of this series too. I know that cgi isn’t that good but hopefully I will make through it.

Now that you say , I remember I watched somewhere , it was said people hated Yang yang for his looks , for them he is too plain and acts mediocre . He even took break bcoz of this ....Idk how much is true .

Trailer looked decent and I wanted to watch it bcoz of LYR. I have watched this female lead in supporting role too, she was good.
