I actually loved every bit of episode from epi 1 itself. Arc 1 where xiaoyao is xiaoliu is my favourite ❤️

Give it a try, I got hooked to it around 7-8 episode. And the last 10 episodes were amazing, I totally got lost in the story, it was wonderful and all the actors were phenomenal

Agree, even though I liked the episodes I haven't yet rated the drama.
And those disliking harem, they better know the story first.
I am just shocked to see how dumb people can be!!

And look at these hypocrites, they don't have problem when emperor have queen and concubines and n number of princes fighting for the throne but they have problem when male lead does (and they don't even know that it's just for show, he will ultimately end up with FL and will only love her)

Right, er niu is such an adorable dog 🐕. I was always looking forward to it's scenes and replayed it's part multiple times. I wished it had more scenes ♥️♥️

I think modern/mysterious dramas suit SWL more than historical romance

Oh...well being an international fan Idk much about what goes behind the scenes. Whatever it's, I see here on this page or youtube.

But one thing which I have constantly heard is haters going beyond a point and affecting the celebrities. They should be humane enough to tone down their aggressiveness and not become an animal!

I see the point of newbies and veterans too. It's like ragging freshers in college by seniors so that they behave, but some raggigng turns into excessive bullying which is wrong.

And yeah I agree people should watch the drama with a chillpill instead of overly attaching themsleves to actors or characters and harming them.

You are correct. And the water ? It's so dirty, you can see it clearly brown muddy color, algae floating etc.., it must be smelly too. I always wonder how do these actors and accesses manage to film scenes in such dirty water, mind you that there might be many retakes as well to bring the perfect shot.

Whenever the water scene comes , the first thing comes to my mind is : "Oh god, It's so dirty, how did they even manage to film ?"🤢

I did hear recently, they all prefer shooting in Winters bcoz of high heat and bugs etc during summers/rainy....must be quite troublesome!

Oh yes, I know about this drama, I ,ept it on hold as I was waiting for season 2, haven't finished watching yet. Now I will definitely watch it for him, didn't know this backstory 🙁.

I am already saddened by the news that his drama based on Japanese adaptation won't air, I wanted to see him in negative character too 💔

One of the drama which I couldn't complete no matter how much I tried was Melody of the golden age. I like Ding yuxi but I just couldn't finish it, story was too draggy for me with more of conversation instead of action 🙁.

Otherwise chinese period/costume dramas are my favourite: xianxia/wuxia/Historical etc, not too much fan of their modern dramas though.
And korean dramas : action /mystery/investigation/crime genres.

I haven't watched these two, but I watched In blossom and sword fairy 4. Sword fairy 4 as a one time watch was good enough for me, leads were good and second leads were a bonus .

I have watched it's initial episodes and some clips on youtube . I have my exams within a months so I will binge watch all the ongoing dramas post exam (love never fails, legend of zhang hai, the prisoner of beauty and love in the pavilion are in my priority wishlist).
