Oh...well being an international fan Idk much about what goes behind the scenes. Whatever it's, I see here on this page or youtube.

But one thing which I have constantly heard is haters going beyond a point and affecting the celebrities. They should be humane enough to tone down their aggressiveness and not become an animal!

I see the point of newbies and veterans too. It's like ragging freshers in college by seniors so that they behave, but some raggigng turns into excessive bullying which is wrong.

And yeah I agree people should watch the drama with a chillpill instead of overly attaching themsleves to actors or characters and harming them.

You are correct. And the water ? It's so dirty, you can see it clearly brown muddy color, algae floating etc.., it must be smelly too. I always wonder how do these actors and accesses manage to film scenes in such dirty water, mind you that there might be many retakes as well to bring the perfect shot.

Whenever the water scene comes , the first thing comes to my mind is : "Oh god, It's so dirty, how did they even manage to film ?"🤢

I did hear recently, they all prefer shooting in Winters bcoz of high heat and bugs etc during summers/rainy....must be quite troublesome!

I am already saddened by the news that his drama based on Japanese adaptation won't air, I wanted to see him in negative character too 💔

One of the drama which I couldn't complete no matter how much I tried was Melody of the golden age. I like Ding yuxi but I just couldn't finish it, story was too draggy for me with more of conversation instead of action 🙁.

Otherwise chinese period/costume dramas are my favourite: xianxia/wuxia/Historical etc, not too much fan of their modern dramas though.
And korean dramas : action /mystery/investigation/crime genres.

I haven't watched these two, but I watched In blossom and sword fairy 4. Sword fairy 4 as a one time watch was good enough for me, leads were good and second leads were a bonus .

I have watched it's initial episodes and some clips on youtube . I have my exams within a months so I will binge watch all the ongoing dramas post exam (love never fails, legend of zhang hai, the prisoner of beauty and love in the pavilion are in my priority wishlist).

Yeah, everyone has their own preferences. Some like strong storyline which suits their taste. If storline isn't what they expected , they won't watch it even if it has their favorite actors /actresses.
It's the same with me , but I have made some exceptions where I prefer watching my favourite actors/actresses acting over storyline, if storyline is still okayish.

Yep, I liked him since I watched him as a supporting character in one the Lost Tomb series. After that I wanted to watch him as ML. But unfortunately not most of his shows managed to attain good rank, obviously because of weak storyline or FL. He as an actor has constantly improved his acting.

I hope "The Princess Gambit" won't disappoint. People have high hopes from the leads, as the FL Meng Ziyi also became quite popular after Blossom drama.

I liked In Blossom too. However Kill me , Love me - I have kept it on hold after watching 14-15 episodes. They kind of ruined the story after showing the ML turning into good character. They should have dragged his morally gray character for a few more Episodes before turning him white. I will definitely finish it for the leads but story wasn’t eye catching for me.

This one would have been more popular if it was released when it finished filming. Sometimes the timings just ruin things. This trope has become quite common, it shared similarity with Ashes of Love and Immortal Samsara. But I think their quality was a bit more better than thjs one.

For a one time watch it's good.

However I find it really sad that Liu xueyi always suffers due to poor storyline or weak FL. HE DESERVES MORE. HE IS SUCH A GOOD ACTOR WITH LOTS OF POTENTIAL. I HOPE ANY DIRECTOR TO BE ABLE TO LET HIM SHOW US HIS TRUE POTENTIAL.

Same, subtle romance and revenge being the main storyline is my taste as well in these kind of dramas. And this role is something Xiao Zhan hasn't done before, I am excited 😊
