The Untamed was my first xianxia drama too ❤️
The way Su Yishui smirked in epi 7 reminded me of Wei Wuxian when he fought that major battle before jumping off the cliff (so that lan wangji doesn't fall down with him).

My favourite xianxia dramas are The Untamed (this has a special place in my heart, I have already watched it multiple times); Till the end of the moon, Legend of Shen Li, Moonlight mystique, Fangs of Fortune, Love of the Divine Tree.

If I rate them in order for me: 1. The Untamed (forever)
2. Love of the divine tree
3. Till the end of the moon
4. Moonlight mystique
5. Tie b/w legend of shen li and fangs of fortune

Edit : watched till epi 15 and so far didn't feel bored even for a second. Idk why people were spreading so much hate when the drama was released

The person I hate the most in this drama..even more than actual villains is that rat betrayer. Still on epi 15. I wonder how will he end up but I hope he dies a miserable death (character I mean)

Same here....and it deserves more than the current rating.

All 3 couples were good. I liked how the emperor treated his empress, noticing every small details. Not all emperors are like him, so this made him stand out.

Fan yue in red in epi 33-34 looked so damn handsome. Costume designer has done a wonderful job. She has been costume designer of many hit shows!❤️

Ao ruipeng has done a commendable job!! I thought he is more suited for playful characters after watching him in The Blood of Youth as Lei wujie. But he has proved he is a versatile actor and is suited for any kind of characters: playful/serous/cold/ even villain. This drama has definitely given more push to his growth as an actor ❤️❤️ Would love to see him in more dramas ❤️❤️

Similarly with Chang Hua Sen, when I saw him in A journey to love, I knew he is a versatile actor. I feel negative characters suit him more. Although his acting as Chong zhao was good but I liked him more as Mo Li 😅

Regarding fu ling and chong zhao relationship in the beginning...it was actually quite refreshing to watch female being cold and ruthless to male bcoz in most series it's always the male who is cold and ruthless towards female.
I am not saying that what she did is right...just saying that reverse roles was refreshing to watch

Initially I didn't want to watch it since it tagged romance, and I am not much into romance genre (I like wuxia/xianxia/action/mystery/thriller types more). But today suddenly I wanted to watch fluffy romance and I am glad I picked it up. It's so different from other romantic dramas. It's definitely worth the watch and I wasn't bored for even a second till now.(Currently on epi 15)

Wth??? Why did they shoot and wasted everyone's time?? I was so eagerly waiting for this!! There so many actors in this drama whom I like....Joseph Zheng, deng Wei,ruirui,riley wang 😭😭😭😭

Since deng Wei's new drama came out after so long, I checked his profile to see which other dramas he has to be aired...and only this one showed...that too got cancelled 😭😭😭😭😭

I hope japanese entertainment industry will take over it's right and air it, after all it's based on Japanese manga....just like did with Justice in the Dark..which will be released in March
