I too wanted to watch for Yang mi...but gong jun and yang mi as a couple..it doesn't fit well for me. Tbh I liked gong jun in word of Honor only. Even legend of anle didn't attract me. And the new series which he is currently shooting 'the dark river' it looks interesting. (Oops! I went off the topic).

Anyway I was excited to watch after watching trailer and costumes looked so cool. But I heard that plot is weak and not interesting so maybe I will just give it up.

What I love the most about this drama is how smart the FL is..and how the villains are getting to taste their own medicine (like when Ruyao and team planned to drug and catch FL and her cousin in adultery act...instead she ended up loosing her lover in her other cousin's hand...that was actually so satisfying to watch.... similarly step mother also gets to bite the dust everytime she plans something evil.... I really want her die miserably) without actually harming the FL

And after these 2 I fell in love with Chinese costume dramas bcoz they are fantasy theme.. something which we can never see in real life!!
