Honestly I liked the ending... it's realistic.. and the leads are alive... didn't the kid say his name Ning Shisan (Ning of ning yuanzhu and Shisan of yu Shisan); his sister Ren Lu (Ren of Ren ruyi and lu of Yuan lu). They named their kids after their comrades..

Why? I haven't started watching this drama yet..but I was planning to watch it for a different kind of story line and ML but many are complaining here about ML...what is it can you please tell? Is his character dumb type or a total jerk something like that?

Yeah...the ML looks good more in traditional outfit with long hairs as compared to modern natural self...in fact I find most of the Chinese actors more photogenic in traditional outfit with long hairs and all those beautiful accessories!! They just look heavenly!
