Although strong,witty,matured up characters look good in novels and dramas but it's not too realistic...in real life not all are alike this way..so Zhang Linghe's character GZY actually is realistic

đ¯ a character doesn't grow up in a day.. moreover he lost his mother at an early age,was considered an outcast by his cousins...his father was strict too him (for his good but he was just a child,he needed love at that time) . Only his brother was truly there for him... and maybe sister too..jin fan might have come later in the picture.
And now all of a sudden responsibility fell on him..so what do you guys want? To mature up in a day? Put yourself in his shoes and ask yourself Would you have been able to do so? I know it's just a drama but the way his character is gives a realistic feeling...
Different types of couples are needed to make a match...if both the leads as well as second leads were of same type giving dangerous vibes then it would have been boring to watch...so the leads and second leads actually maintain a balance
