Romance would dilute the emotional weight of his journey. Not every drama needs romance, and forcing it into a plot like this feels unnecessary, especially when most dramas already rely on it. If there’s ever a season 2 and TLC fulfills his goal, then maybe romance could fit.

As for A Shui, she’s been suspicious from the start. If the drama follows the script, her role isn’t meant to be romantic—she is part of the hardship TLC must face.

PP dislike a character doesn’t mean disliking the actress; Lin Yun is undeniably very beautiful and seems genuinely sweet and outside the drama both actor have really good chemistry. I would be happy for them to have another pairing in a drama with romance.
