His character looks very calm and dignified but absolutely morally grey, ruthless, merciless, never backdown one that needs to be toned down to survive C drama. Just like they changed TTJ from novel to TTJ in the drama. Too many characters it gets confusing and no love line at all. No FL. Only 2nd and 3rd ML. This is like bromance drama might as well be BL 😂

Ttoetm broke platform ceiling by 200%, when air during cold period april and not summer. Ttoetm expectations were 35-38M/eps and Youku will be extremely satisfied if ttoetm is 45M but no it was 70 M. No wonder they put a new drama on ttoetm finale and abandoned it, they collected the huge 💵profit already.

Some pp speculation is Youku must pay Otter based on views count. More like licensing deal and not copyright purchase. Plus well known that Youku long tail is the worst among platform. I think during airing Ttoetm was the bloodiest I’ve seen in a drama and everyone who made big $ just run away from it. Being on Youku indeed a big disadvantage. Imagine if Ttoetm is Tencent (king of marketing and long tail) or Qiyi the largest in membership number now. Ttoetm would reach 100M by now and esp if air in summer

Tang Li zi is such as complicated character. No idea how Leo is going to create this characters and differentiate them with Tan Tai Jin. Imo, Tang Li Zi looks like S Tou, elegant but next moment he is like Tan Tai Jin. They def need to tone down TLZ from the novel.

First her fans was mocking DW fans during TTOETM and they kept quiet and now DW gets famous from LYF and his fans can fight back.
