That usually the heavy portion of drama promotion, not plot, not acting etc. This is usually parts of the agreement in actor contracts, they need to follow it. But ML or FL might want to add more CP - couple interaction than the drama itself, because CP fans are usually "sticky" and willing to spend $. At the end of the drama, these actors usually try to break that "CP" and turn the fans to the actor own fans. Because they need to move on to next airing drama.
So yes, all you see are 95% fake, they might have good relationship during filming (by contract they should) and then not contacting each other after. Some actor had spoken abt this as well.
TTEOTM marketing not relying on CP promotion at all because they believe there is no need. TTEOTM has enough Beef without CP marketing.

Like I saw so many artists wore them, not only Leo or BL. Almost all popular C artists own this brand.
Just Leo having way to many of these Bear T shirt, jacket, shirt etc. But that's him, once he likes a brand you will see him wearing them all the time for months can be years. During 2020 he was obsessed with Balenciaga T shirt and sneakers and seems like that's all he wore for the whole year.
