It’s been a roller coaster chasing TTEOTM and it’s affecting my work, my social life and I’m sad there is no more eps.
For me TTEOTM is 3 years long waiting, because HYX is up in the air. I have high expectation and TTEOTM has satisfied me on all aspects. Yes, it is not perfect, but no drama is perfect and the perfections outweigh the in-perfections by HUGE margin.
I’ve always hope after 12yrs of injustice in Ent World just because he is from poor agency, LYX can get his shining moment. And this time he did. TTEOTM is LYX 1st Big ML drama with a producer that trusts him and treats him like a star for the 1st TIME IN HIS LIFE. Leo plays 3 characters; 3 Demon Gods total 8 distinct personalities and he slays them all with such a finesse like no other. From 1st eps to the last eps LYX transformed between characters flawlessly, his performance is layered, detailed and smooth. His acting is convincing because he understands his characters better than any script writer/ director can ever hope for and he GAVE IT ALL. His acting, his lines, his clean beautiful fights scenes and him rocking his costume like a M Supermodel are result of his 12 yrs. accumulation of hard work from a Low-Key Powerful Actor. One of the finest among Chinese Actors of his generation and the finest actor Xianxia has ever seen.
TTJ is one in a lifetime role for any actor, a huge challenge for even an Oscar winning actor to portray 8 distinct personalities in 1 drama and LYX is lucky to meet TTJ but TTJ is even luckier to meet LYX.
As LYX said the similarities between him and TTJ: They both never give up whatever fate throws at them. They both are TRUE warriors.
