LBFAD is fluffy simple love story done right. TTEOTM is Layered Full of Foreshadowing plot, Tons of angst and very complicated story, it really not focusing on the love story.
For me I never like simple love story like LBFAD, it bored me while this keep me on edge and wanting more of the story.

Can't deny this is the best GCI, Costume and Acting in Xianxia drama.

This I'm confused I read the novel in 2020 I don't remember everything but it was not in the script. They changed it, he did not come to that punishing platform. So????

If they are expressing their taste it's fine, we can differentiate between the two.
Like I don't like modern romcom, I like angst story like TTEOTM. Many pp like LBFAD, for me I finished them with FF and Mute the sounds. I saw some good aspect fr it but yeah not my taste.

It's quite common. Like LYX would have 12 rumors of his next project each time he finish filming. It can create fans war but for the show party whatever rumor out there it can only bring popularity to the drama.

TTEOTM has taken Xianxia to next level and increase our expectation on Acting, CGI, No water plot, Great Costume, Beautiful Setting and it keep us on EDGE ALL THE TIME

FYI, GJ was never considered for this role. LYX fans knew he is got this project since Oct '20. This is Immortality/HYX team, as soon as he finished HYX filming in Sept '20 LYX was asked to pick which IP he wanted and he picked TTEOTM. I even doubt they had a director back then.

I want to add: Everyone scenes are being cut off A LOT, especially GONG YE, he has the most cut here. While those wailing abt LSS cut in EPS 34. I did check it was the same as in the script and let me REMIND YOU AGAIN: LEADS READ the script before accepting the roles. RESPECT THEIR CHOICE, it is common they filmed more and not released it.

The facts is TTEOTM is a major ML Drama, and for example Blue Whisperer is a major FL Drama, where ML got a VERY little screen time.

Legends of Shen Li, Lost you forever those are Major FL drama, where the FL will have more screen time.

It's antis and hater works...By now I'm sure nothing going to happen with TTEOTM, it is supporting 2 cities tourism in A HUGE WAY. This drama is creating jobs in Beng Bu city. Beng Bu is absolutely Jammed with tourist and the Gov is lighting the whole cities with TTOETM , having food bazaar, decorate their buses with MY and SJ. In short Basically the whole cities is full of MING YE and SJ, they are v happy with TTEOTM.

Plus the final message of TTEOTM is VERY positive, the only way it can air in china.

Now should we worry abt 40 eps rules????

I think this is his best acting after the prisoner TTJ.

The tower scenes was Meh, the wedding and today's scenes is so much better than tower scene. Ohhh....HYX has WAY to many EPIC SCENES, Looking at the CGI, Screenwriter -yes the r the same one-Actor. We already know HYX is way more explosive than TTEOTM.
And even more confusing for non novel reader, the whole discussion will be full of people asking ??? like here hahaha
Okay now I really miss HYX which btw today is no 1 on the list of most anticipated drama. We r not alone ....

CWN - TTJ are comparable in the sense that
TTJ is to be sacrificed as Demon God body, one that gave him endless suffering
CWN, after all those suffering, he finds out that he is just a piece of carved wood and also like TTJ just a vessel for CX son.
They both are created as tools for someone else….and both LYX….I’m sobbing now.
I love LYX most in white, and after this TTJ, I’m so ready for CWN beautiful all white costumes
