No hate to the actor but he doesn’t suit romance dramas anymore let alone ones with young and gorgeous FL.
He is perfect for dramas like Squid Game etc but it just feels wrong. Like she’s dating her dad or something.
Always hated the younger woman older man trope as they always cock up the casting. Some of the older woman / younger man dramas are perfect as the women suit the roles they are in and the males don’t look young or out of place.
Some of the dramas with older man and younger women are ok but the main once which make my skin crawl are:
Dating in the kitchen - zhao Lusi 25years old and a phenominal actress and the ml who is older than her dad and has terrible facial hair Goblin - wonderful plot but creepy execution Backstreet Rookie - creepy also as he kisses a high school student and dates her few years out of school which is MAD

GangJu a wonderful character but his step father doesn't care about him at all instead fired him from the company and put him in debt for no real reason. Maybe the will reconcile later on but the damage is done.
TaeUng is annoying as always. Acting high and mighty although he doesn't actually deserve anything he has or will be given. Have a feeling that he will be come the new director. But maybe he will be really bad at the role and resign or ask GangJu for help. Who knows
The ML mother is also a wonderful character. Backing her son to the end no matter what is wholesome to see especially since no one else seems to like him.
The FL mother is a pain. In the preview for episode 21 she seems confused as to why she's being arrested. You stole 10,000,000 why else would you be being arrested. Hope the ML and his mother get that money back.
The FL grandparents are also annoying too. Stole the money and are also angry / confused as to why they have hand cuffs on. Annoying is an understatement.
I don't mind DaRim as she's been in love for years so I get that she won't be able to forget and move in constantly but treating GangJu nice one moment then telling him to never show his face again is weird and rude. Especially since your family has stolen his fortune. GangJu has also revamped their launderette and the have accepted his money without hesitation.
ChaRim is annoying but gets a pass as she's fine af. At least she knows what she wants and doesn't waver which is suppose is rare in female characters in dramas these days.
Really hope GangJu becomes the director again as you can tell he loves the job as well as the clothing he helps make. The other team members also seem to like him even ChaRim although she will prefer having TaeUng as the director although I'm certain he doesn't have the qualification to be a director let alone the brains to do so.
Rant over. If GangJu was to become the villain I will happily support him and his mother. Maybe spare DaRim as GangJu is in LOVE. Hope their romance comes sooner rather than later.
Really enjoyed this. But who ever wrote the last 5-6 mins of episode 16 deserves a slap. Had a 22 year old 6ft5…
FL has surgery to donate an organ to save daughter. They do a time skip and the ML and child are travelling together and arrive at a cemetery and the ML says “let’s go see mamma”
Hinting that she is dead,
When in reality true FL is ALIVE and waiting for them at the FL father’s grave.
SML (Byeon Woo Seok) ruined the show for me. Too many people focus on his face than the actual drama it self. The drama was good for me but all the comments I read during the airing were all about 'hOw DrEaMy' he is instead of the main actors and plot. Got really annoying the more the drama went on as it seemed to take away from the ML and FL which was disrespectful.
Then they started shipping the SML and FL because he treated her well. Did they forget the fact that he is going to kill her and steal her strength. As well as kill entire her family for their powers or we just gonna drool over him while he commits multiple crimes.
I know his back story is sad but doesn't me he should have a happy ending. He was technically a serial killer cosplaying as a CEO. But let's all ignore that and fantasise instead.
Then in the finale when he shot himself like a coward the ratings went from a 8.5 to a 7 all becasus their wet dream dies.
Nothing against the actor just the blatant disregard for the actual show it's self.
