I mean he is raped but the drama glosses over that and turns him into a cheater which I think was the wrong move.

Over time he just continues sleeping with her as he feels responsible.

Eventually he divorces his wife and they separate but it’s left open as his ex wife ends up pregnant (his baby) leaving it an open ending for me.


You should watch it this doesn’t really happen until the end of the drama and the ML and FL stole the show for me. Amazing acting and chemistry

Not sure as it’s been almost year but it’s a few episodes after the husband moves away for work where he is drunk and the sober girl rapes him

Second couple looms promising too

Guessing it’s Yun Jin Gyeong and Baek Sang Hyeon

Don’t usually like historical dramas but my god this was amazing. From the acting to the chemistry and the amazing side characters it was just top notch.

The ending was fitting and tricked me I can’t lie. Gets three arrows in the back but then gets redeemed by the outro where it stayed “there are rumours of a clown having the same face as the king, but it is unconfirmed”. Aka he’s an alive but in hiding with the queen.

Anyone have recommendations for any other dramas like this?

What role does the character Baek Ma Ri have in the drama? Huge fan of the actress so I’m hoping she has her own story and love interest

That’s sad for Mu Yang but glad he respected her not many royal characters I can think of that respect others

They’d make an amazing couple. Continuing the trope of best friends younger brother which is a good trope to watch.

Totally agree. I don’t really care that he’s ugly as I’m straight man so that part I don’t care about. Only time I hate it in dramas is when a young, talented and gorgeous actress is paired with an old talentless actor. Like behond the bar. Why everyone wanted them to be a couple is beyond me

Well it’s complicated. His case was dismissed due to lack of evidence.

It was confirmed that the sex was without consent and forceful but due to Korean laws the case was dismissed and the woman was found guilty of reporting of a false sexual assault

There are something the public will never know. Whether she was lying or not but after reading the Korean case file send from a friend in the country i don’t think I will ever see him the same way again
