One of the best Cdramas of 2025. Many cdramas this year have been underwhelming and just plain bad.
This drama was amazing. From the chemistry to the cinematography and music was just on point. Not to mention the acting from all characters. Especially the leads.
Such a mature drama which was written and well executed. From beginning to end I was hooked.
Such a sad story resolved with a perfect ending. No rushed ending just a beautiful scene with two characters that shows love knows no bounds.
Throughout the drama the ML was probably the greenest flag you’ll meet (ignoring the weird forcing her to do his homework etc) standing by her no matter what and not getting involved when he wasn’t needed. Aiding and guiding her to make decisions for herself and not others. A true MAN.
The mother is a character I still don’t like. I understand she’s depressed but acting like that toward your family is uncalled for.
The ultimate villain in this drama would be the fathers family and their ways of live and their opinions on things they don’t concern them.
Now the series is over Can anyone tell me what was the actual reasons that lead to her sister death?
BeiYu aka FL sister was the first born and was happy and loved for many years but as the FL was born her father’s parents took BeiYu away stating that her parents wouldn’t cope.
Over the years and the birth of their brother BeiYu was basically forgotten by her parents.
While with her grandparents she met JunRui the adopted son of her father’s family. They started dating and she got pregnant that’s when JunRui abandoned her and she had a miscarriage.
From then on her life was even worse. Bouncing from bad men to bad men. Ending up with someone who abused her and have her HIV.
Her parents found out and left the FL and her brother to look after her for a few months which made BeiYu happy but ultimately the pain of knowing she has HIV was too much resulting in her suicidal which her mother saw
Imagine being the child of those dreadful parents though. Controlling and almost dictator like mother and a father…

The mother sent BeiYu to live with others which changed BeiYu ultimately killing her.
Putting an iron door on your house to stop her, taking her money, phone, computer, friends away because men are too tempting even though Ming Sheng is amazing for her
The FL wants to know how her sister died and who is responsible but the mother doesn’t care and only wants her reputation upheld.
Currently on episode 13 and I don’t think anyone or anything can convince me that the FL mother is a good parent or person.
Been told that that later on it’ll be become clear but either way it makes no sense to practically imprison your daughter for having male friends. Friends that looks after and actually care but her and don’t tell her to go and die or hit her when you don’t like her behaviour
Only people to care for the FL is the ML and the FL brother.
The FL mother threatening Ming Sheng with murder and arson is even worse. Threatening to kill sometime who cares and who will eventually love your daughter like she actually deserves. Her actions don’t even make sense anymore.
Pushing the FL onto her knees to apologise for finding out that JinRui is a scumbag and abandoning the girl he got pregnant and causing a miscarriage.
Sending BeiYu away to love in your hometown then blaming everyone but yourself for her being rebellious is insane.
Just a downright awful mother and human being. I genuinely don’t think I will change my opinion on her. Been told that her actions make sense and she’s understandable makes no sense to me.
If my daughter hell even son was begging for help after suffering physical or mental pain I’d be with them in a flash. Helping and guiding them not ignoring them so save my reputation with some old twat.
I get the mother being protective over the FL after how she treated her dead daughter but surely the best way to protect your daughter is not by shielding her from sex ed, boys and life but by teaching her about life.
Teach her about the horrors of the world. Teach self defence and sex ed as well as her own sexual health. Shielding her will do more damage
Would have though Hye Won might of finally gotten her chingu considering the hints

We see like 1 episode of them in college and then it ends which is actually perfect.
On episode 15 currently but depression doesn’t excuse treating your family like that
