I don’t mind Cha Rim. I get why she wants a rich husband as her family ignored her and always focused on the FL as she was blind so it's understandable that she doesn't want a life without financial stability.
And she has also released what she has been doing wrong and is now loving and supporting her sister so she's a good character now for me.
And her love interest Cha Tae Ung is complicated but it's clear they'll end up together as they like one another but for the time being they'll just stare at one another and not do anything.
All in one episode: Confessed to FL = REJECTED Found out he has a brother Punched and left with spilt lip Father called him a brat Father told him not to show emotion
But somehow previous episodes have the same behaviour towards the ML. From the looks of it the next two episodes are worse considering in the preview the FL tell him to leave her alone
The drama is excellent so far though. Cliche story with Cha Tae Ung being the son of the CEO and brother to Seo Gang Ju.
The Lee Cha Rim character will get what she wants a rich man to marry in the form of Cha Tae Ung which is predictable and boring since she said to Cha Taw Ungs face multiple times. They like one another so just date no need for the weird rich man story line.
Leads are cute and fluffy. Can't wait for them to start dating it'll be a good watch. Will be a while considering the episode 13 preview had Lee Da Rim telling Seo Gang Ju to leave her alone and don't speak to me.
Wish Seo Gang Ju was treated better by all really:

Lee Da Rims family verbally abusing him because of what he did. IT WAS an accident, how was he supposed to know his lighter would misfire and spark like that. He paid for everything and more which he didn't even need to do he just wanted to earn favour with the family as he likes Lee Da Rim
Finished the final episode and fuck me this is a shit drama.
Started off really well and was looking forward to the episodes. The actors were phenomenal but the writing and story was dreadful.
So in the end he dies and she starts her own delusion of him being alive. I guess it is a beautiful lie. Makes no sense to me though. ML just dies never shows up again?
Only saving grace for me was the acting performances of everyone and the third couple being the only pair to actually communicate and talk to one another and sort their differences and problems out.

For me they were the best part of this drama hope they come back and have more screen time as so far it odd as they have almost vanished other than the Fei Fei popping up now and then.
FL is useless. Her partner is having a mental health crisis and she's worried about something completely useless. HELP THE MAN PLEASE!! He has witnessed two explosions and one of them being a terror attack and the other was on a battlefield (I think) Poor man is practically alone, only person really helping is the psychiatrist and close friend Zhe Cheng.
Only bearable characters are: Xing Zhi Zhi Chen Shen Ke Fei Fei Yu Zhe Cheng Others are ok but not on screen enough to like or dislike.
Other annoying parts to this drama consist of the blatant disregard and disrespect to Chen Shens feelings.
1.) He found out Xiao Xaio was already married from a random make up artist.
2.) She asked for a new manager seconds after saying "forgot to say I'm married now".
3.) Used him to get over her ex which clearly wasn't going to work but tried anyway. (Yes Chen Shen knew her feeling but had to try) and broke up with him cruelly and said thank you when he said he was able to wait any period of time for her.
4.) FL begging Chen Shen for use of his facilities for free for a dance group wtf? 🤷♂️ Only saving grace is that Xiao Xiao seems happy knowing what he had done for her and the FL which i suppose is nice. She still doesn't know the bar was for her.
5.) Liu Yanze beats the crap out of Chen Shen and no one spoke about, also fairly certain Liu Yanze smashed a lot of the bar too.
6.) Asking Chen Shen to protect their marriage and love. I mean give the man a moment come one people.

Liu Yanze ran away from Xiao Xiao at the first chance as things were "too hard" and that's when Xiao Xiao met Chen Shen who fell for her and decided to help her over come her heartbreak and despair. Five years later (I think) Liu Yanze comes back and Xiao Xiao, to her credit, tries to move on but unfortunately uses Chen Shen who is completely head over heels for Xiao Xiao.
Also agree on the way Liu Yanze and Xiao Xiao treated Chen Shen.
Xiao Xiao knew how he felt and used him and tried to genuinely like him but at every opportunity during their dates she always thought of Liu Yanze and their time together even to a point where Chen Shen had to abandon their date (meeting his parents) and watch her smile lovingly at a coward.
Liu Yanze always ignore and disrespected Chen Shen for no real reason. I tried to like the Liu Yanze character but when he beat the shit out of Chen Shen for no real reason other than jealously because he was with a female client it made me lose any respect for the Liu Yanze character.
Then the next few episodes just tipped me over the edge. Liu Yanze beats the shit out of someone and then realised that he can't live without her. Give me a break. Xiao Xiao playing hard to get lasted 12mins and then she's sleeping with Liu Yanze and when Chen Shen calls he has to watch them being lovey dovey. All of his commitment to help her with her mental health and wellbeing goes out the window. Shit show honestly. Saving grace is the other couple just simple and fluffy.
Also just realised that Chen Shen doesn't know they're engaged yet (I'm on episode 30) which is just sad.
