I finally finished the last episode!! I loved this drama so so much, and I feel like the characters were really my friends. I loved the nostalgia of it and how true-to-life it was. The actors were all so amazing, can't wait to watch them in other projects!

Ahhh, I'm postponing watching the last episode because I don't know what to watch next! This drama has definitely left a special place in my heart, I've enjoyed it so much. I think I'm going to watch Mining Town next, has anyone seen it? It seems kind of nostalgic and has a similar theme of rising out of poverty

The plot is simple, but this film was just gorgeous with how low-key it is. I really liked how it felt really nostalgic, and just had sweet teenage issues. No over-the-top drama or anything, or weird teacher-student relationships. Idk, it seemed like a feel-good movie to me!

Yeah, XuanXuan aging 2 years just in between 2 episodes!! Lolll

I'm always wondering this too! And sometimes they'll randomly say what year it is and I'm like, only THAT much time has passed? Like, Yicheng supposedly started at the TV station in 1993, but by the time all these marriages & had happened and he & Xiao Lang broke up, it was only 1997. Like what????? Lol

Looks like youku announced it as part of their summer lineup back in May or something, but no news about it since July 😔😔 So, hopefully some time this year!

I also think JuAn was a really good choice for Yi Cheng, but from what I've seen, I don't think she's coming back in any later episodes. I'm sad, because it would be really emotional to see his first love make a reappearance and maybe find out why she stood him up in Beijing? Cause I'm really curious why lol. Hopefully his second wife (after Xiao Lang) will be just as good!
