I agree with you about liking these episodes better!! Honestly the mystery stuff is very very NOT interesting to me, unless it includes comedy, like the scene with Lim Soon/Mijin and Byeong Deok trying to get out of the hospital. I feel like we got more time with the characters this week. Jiwoong is way more interesting to me when he's trying to be serious in very un-serious situations lol.

If you watch the making video, they literally barely touched lips lollll. I thought it was just the camera angle, but no, they were actually just not kissing 😂

I love that so many of us are watching both these shows at the same time, & both actresses were in Work Later, Drink Now together lol. It's funny they ended up doing such similar shows!

Agreed. And then him buying his way into a new job just so he can stare at her during the work day, and it's framed as endearing? I liked him at first because I thought it was sweet he had a crush on her even before knowing she was young and beautiful, but the stalking is weirdo behavior. But of course, this being a kdrama, it's supposed to be heart-fluttering for whatever reason.

In ep 6 when Mijin is telling Jiwoong about her aunt, she says "everyone says I look just like her. I liked her even more than I liked my own mother." Which seems a little suspicious? And then the killer wrote "Lee Mijin, Im Mijin," and if Mijin is actually Im Soon's daughter (with an unknown father), then her last name would be Im, right?

So, the cat must be the real Im Soon. And the real Im Soon is actually Mijin's real mom? That explains the "Im Mijin" the killer wrote? I feel like that's where they're leading us, but I can't figure out what Mijin being her daughter has to do with anything else...

Omg I love that you said it's like the grown-up version of her Reply 1997 character. I've been thinking the same thing this whole time! The fact that she's using satoori in this one too makes it seem even more similar. It feels sort of nostalgic watching her in this lol

The switcheroo scenes between Mijin and Im Soon are so so well-done, especially the dancing scene in ep 3. I'm super disappointed they haven't included any of that in the behind the scenes videos so far! I was so curious to see how they filmed that dance scene. The camerawork & special effects really make this drama shine, but we don't get to see any of it lol

I loved that too! My favorite thing about the pretty ahjumma is that in real life she's younger that Lee Jungeun. And yet she's supposed to be playing someone much older than her lolll

Okay I have some new theories:

-The body Mijin turns into during the day is not actually her aged up, but is one of the women who disappeared (could explain why she's not recognizable, why the writer pointedly steered them away from getting her fingerprints at the police station, and why the new intern keeps looking at her—if he's the killer, he could recognize her from then).

-The former cop intern was the detective on the case before retiring, the one that Det. Kwon or whoever mentioned to Jiwoong. (This one seems pretty obvious imo.) The new guy is the killer or a suspect, and former cop recognizes him.

-Gayeong's mother is also one of the women who went missing. The way she said, "I don't have a mom," to Ko Won's manager seems kind of significant.

I'm enjoying this drama, but I kinda wish the thriller part was less heavy. Because I feel like I'm spending so much energy trying to pay attention to hints and twists, when I really just want to be focused on Mijin's dilemma & the romance!

Did this movie ever actually get released?

So far, my one gripe is that the romance would be 10x better if they didn't use the slow-mo catch/protect the girl every single time these two meet. The romantic tension between them is already so good, they don't need to use those over-the-top cliches to convince us!

I think a lot of it is the situations we see her in when she's young and when she's old. When she's young we've mostly seen her struggling or hiding things. We see her be more savvy as an older person because she DOES know these things, but as we've seen in her dialogue, she's spent the past 8 years working her tail off & not getting to have the fun other people in their twenties have. So we may not see her partying and browsing TikTok in those scenes because it just doesn't fit. But she's aware of those things because she knows she's missing it. Plus, she seems more energetic when she's in an older body because the stamina of a 28 yr old would seem extraordinary for a 50-something-yr-old, while when she's herself, it's just normal.

There have only been 2 episodes lol. Hardly enough to make sweeping judgements on characters, esp since we haven't even met most of them properly yet.

Most fictional stories depend on characters making stupid choices, lol. Tbh all of these characters so far have been dumb for one reason or another, and it's just to move the plot along. Like why would Jiwoong tell her "sorry" isn't enough for accidentally burning his papers? In real life, any sensible person would be like oh well if it's burned, they're gone. But since the plot needed the papers to be found, he insisted & FL managed to find them. Sometimes enjoying a show means suspending your disbelief a little bit.

My theory is that the cat IS the real Im Soon.

It cracks me up because to me she's always looked exactly her age. I've never heard of someone thinking she's older lol, especially since she was only 28 when she filmed Blind! I'm sure she'll do fine in this one, she's a really great actress.

This comment cracks me up so much omg. She was in her 20s when she filmed Blind, and she was barely 30 when she filmed this... Unless the character is literally 20 years old (which seems doubtful, seeing as she's been job searching for 8 years) I don't see what the problem is here LOLLL

It looks like you can find them either on their livejournal, which you only have to ask to join (mikilove13fs.livejournal.com), or on drama-otaku or d-addicts. I use drama-otaku because I have an account on there, but those are the other options I found looking on this person's site!
