Omg I didn't even notice! I was wondering why they lingered on the numbers in that jury choosing scene.
Okay, also number 13 is the one that Seunghoon really focused on, so... could he be Yoon Jae? I say either he's Yoon Jae or the kid that tried to save Yoon Jae.
Ok so I'm enjoying the show so much and I can't wait for the next episodes, but I rewatched ep 2 and another thing that annoyed me besides the courtroom stuff was the hostage situation. So it was about 11:30 or midnight when Man Chun got to Eunki, right? But it was in the morning (late morning, judging by the light) that the police were finally getting there and trying to negotiate. So like what took so long? And what was Man Chun doing all night, just sitting in the room with Eunki waiting for the police to come? It's just weird that there was such a huge gap of time there in which seemingly nothing happened.
But from the court scene. I had my doubts about. Can they make a verdict without a direct proof.
This! Like there was no hard evidence and barely any deliberation. Plus, I don't know if it's different in Korea, but how could a murder trial only take one day? Here in the US murder trials take weeks, with a lot of different evidence and witnesses. I guess for the drama they needed to make that part quick so they could get to the main plot, but that really bothered me.
Ok I think I might have a grasp in the story now, but I did see Ep 2 without subs so who knows lol This is my…
Omg these are suchhhh good predictions! I was suspicious about Jurors 3 and 5 but didn't even think about 5 being the boy who got his leg trapped! I was trying to think of how his limp could be significant, but forgot about the leg boy. Plus they seemed like they knew each other when all the jurors were going to eat & 3 came back to ask if he was coming with. I also feel like Eunki might be involved too? Juror 3 being interested in her seemed suspicious to me, like either she's in on the plan or is a pawn in it...
This show is a WILD RIDE already!! Also, the acting is superb. Like I already expected the best from my fave, Eunji, but all three of the main cast are AMAZING. Ha Seokjin's acting is so tight without being overly showy about how rigid his character is. Even the side characters are great so far. Park Ji Bin is subtle but making Jung In Sung so suspicious (even if he does look like 15 years old. I was so shocked to find out he's 27!)
Depends on if you're cool with waiting between episodes. There's cliffhangers, but not unbearable cliffhangers, in my opinion. After next week people here might be able to share a more solid opinion!
so the guy mentioned jung yoon jae in the end, the young kid in the jury's name is jung in sung haha.. coincidence…
I totally agree about why didn't they have anyone stationed at the jury's homes. I at least thought Judge Ryu or someone would have actually told the three that the convict had their addresses, so they could arrange for their own safety. Like it's one thing to tell them he escaped, but if they don't know for a fact he might be looking for them, they wouldn't take as many precautions. Idk, it did irk me that they didn't do anything to protect the jurors with that.
I'm watching ep 15, and do they really expect us to believe Bei Sheng could create a whole routine from scratch that's competition-ready in just a couple days??? And he's not even working with a coach, he's doing it all just with his friends? I'm willing to suspend my disbelief to a certain point for dramas, but this is just ridiculous lol
The supporting role couple is so indifferent and boring to watch, it brings the whole thing down. What's worse…
I also find them a little boring. Like they're cute but they just don't have enough substance to them for me to want to watch an entire episode about them. I think it's the fact that their storyline is about theater, and I don't care about that lol, I want to see the sports, since it's a sports drama!
How realistic is the figure skating in the drama? The Hallmark kind of level with male doing triple toeloop and…
It's inconsistent. The ML did a triple axel his first time doing singles skating, which was like huh? But then suddenly afterwards he can't do any jumps to save his life (which we all know is more realistic, but then why was he able to execute an extremely difficult jump before? Lol). So yeah. I'd say they can't decide if they want to go for realistic or dramaland. I'm still enjoying the show though
I've been trying to give Xiao Qing the benefit of the doubt, but she just irritated me in ep 10. She's so talented and could go so far, but she's changing her whole career just to chase after some guy who obviously doesn't like her back??? Trying to say she's an adult and can make her own decisions, but being an adult means doing what's best for yourself and making rational decisions, which she has NOT done at all in the whole show. I hope she comes to her senses eventually. They really did her character a disservice.
I like Lareina Song but as a figure skating fan, I'm wary about this drama. All the ones I've seen have been problematic…
Figure skating fan here! So far, there hasn't actually been much on the figure skating part of it, it's mostly focused on the speed skating for now. So I can't really tell if it's going to be unrealistic or not. The only downside I've felt so far is that the few pairs skating routines they've had are kind of boring. But that makes sense, since they probably didn't want to make things too extravagant for safety reasons or so that they didn't have to rely too much on stunt doubles or something. Hope that helps! I'm really enjoying it so far.
Look.... it was a bad movie and it didn't have subtitles so I didn't really understand, but it WAS scary. Definitely wouldn't have watched the whole thing if not for Sun Yihan (and let me be honest, this was filmed in her early acting days and is NOT her best work) but for a mostly terrible movie, it did have some good scary imagery. Would definitely watch it again one day if it ever gets English subtitles!
Okay, also number 13 is the one that Seunghoon really focused on, so... could he be Yoon Jae? I say either he's Yoon Jae or the kid that tried to save Yoon Jae.
