i’m speechless. me and my sister finished this in one sitting because each second had us on the edge of our seats & by the end of each episode we practically fought over the remote to hit next episode faster. WOW. recommending this to anyone who’ll listen.

I’m on episode 11 at the work dinner scene where they play the truth game or whatever.
I just have to say. i’m trying REALLY really hard to understand ALL the characters in the show, not just who i like. but i actually can’t understand sangyeon. I empathize with the loneliness she felt in her life, losing her bother very young but also always coming second to that same brother. losing her mother in her formative college years but also understanding that same mother really dropped the ball when it comes to the mother daughter bond you’re supposed to form starting from the beginning of life. but..ppl grow. people experience these things and either realize that they are holding themselves back or that the circumstances they’re in don’t need to define their life.
we’ve seen this character in every stage of her life so far and she has not changed ONCE since she was a child.
I don’t know if it’s just me but i don’t believe you have to be friends with someone who constantly competes with you or hurts you because they know there’s something missing within them (it’s self love but she CLEARLY doesn’t see that)
but i also can’t fully feel bad for eunjung too. a lot her insecurities around her own friend is a weird thing too because outside of this friendship she seems like a VERY confident and secure person, but then shes around sangyeon and boom, she forgets she has that confidence. i felt for her during the college era cuz it just felt so unfair that she was being played with by two ppl she trusted. those two may not have cheated but they cheated emotionally, and her friend a-ra said it perfectly when she was talking about her own love life and that she felt 2nd to her guy bcus of his friendship to another girl. emotional cheating almost feels worse than physical cuz physical u can toss it up to lust & just being in the moment and making a mistake. emotional cheating feels worse because it’s a deeper connection and bond forming WHILE lying to your partner. if they didn’t think anything was wrong with how they we’re connecting or the secret they shared about finding M..then they wouldn’t have lied so much.
if THIS is the kind of friendship most viewers got emotional over then woah lol may the kind of friendship NEVERRRR find me.
nonetheless, the show is still 10/10 for me in terms of storytelling and acting. the pacing was a little slow at times but it would pick up right away so it almost made the slow pace feel as important if that makes sense.
but ya. i can empathize with sangyeon but she’s actually an awful person. everyone goes through things in life, her friend isn’t her punching bag. no one should be.

I actually don’t know how to articulate just how much of a masterpiece the first 3 episodes of this show so far have been. the pacing, the acting, the emotions, the plot!!!! the eerie art-imitating life scene rn with this current political climate IYKYK (even tho irl it wasn’t a politician but still) . JJH never, and i mean NEVER disappoints and it’s so refreshing to see her play this role right now. i really hope this continues to stay this good or even better 제발!!
started this show (only ryeoun’s episodes) & cannnnnnnot stand it lol. no matter how much i like the chemistry between the yoo jung & ryeoun..that “best friend” is making it hard to get past their second episode lol
i’m not done catching up on this past weekends eps but for ep 6 which i just finished, i just have to say the FL was so inappropriate? like her actions were very unlike what i expected from her character. why would she let him touch her hair or even continue a conversation after she found out his name. even if she was trying to sus him out, that was so weird of her to do as a lawyer.
the review up there that had the dislike about the last 2 episodes feeling rushed, i agree! i love this drama SO much and cried so hard the last few episodes but I was so disappointed that they didnt show how the parents reconnected. besides that, i love this drama to bits. and had a real good cry!
i'm half way through, and i really enjoy this show. Hanee is the GOAT and literally can have chemistry with the wall! the ML ive only ever seen in Golden spoon and i thought his acting was ok, kinda boring..but i guess it wasn't his acting but the role itself cus hes GREAT here! love him in this and hope he can choose roles that show more range and emotion. so far this show is comedic gold, great story telling, i love all the characters EVEN the bad guys bcus their acting is THAT good. standing ovation and practically criminal how underrated this show is.
