idk... part one and two feel like completely different shows. i usually like psychological horror types if i had known part two would've gone down a possession-type horror route i probably wouldn't have watched this drama... maybe i wouldn't have been disappointed in it if there wasn't such a large gap between one and two, maybe i missed it but was the forest spirit even mentioned in part one? the acting and production is great but i had to watch the last few episodes on 1.5x speed

it is a fact that gmmtv mistreats their female actors, the actors have brought it up themselves. its probably why its taken this long to make a lesbian romance and why namtan was only in one lead role and one ensemble drama announced in part one
i think you bringing up bl is so irrelevant to your original point? why bring up the comparison between gl and bl in the first place unless you are just mad that bl is more popular?
women are interested in male x male romance pairings in a way that i think is incomparable to men being interested in lesbians. men don't want to watch a lesbian romantic storyline they want normal action plotline with hot women to look at sometimes. going to put in my own observation as a woman in this community, most of us are queer and interact with this media in a way that i cannot describe as fetishy. i think looking into a fandom from the outside you're always going to focus on the vocal weirdos (see furrys, bronies, kpop fans, etc.), but the actual experience of being in this community is different. there will be plenty of bl fans that won't want to watch a gl , but there will also be a lot who will so..?
