Lee Yeon came in 1938 and changed Lee Rang`s life. He brought him in Gyeongseong (Old Seoul). Lee Rang (from season 1) did not have that opportiunity, he has continued to be in a gang with the bandits (he was the leader of the gang). Who knows, maybe he met the mermaid because of this little change. We don`t know how the future will change with all the characters` visit into the past.

Lee Rang`s love interest is a new character. It is a supporting role played by rookie actress Woo Hyun-Jin. The mermaid, in human form, is a singer, has two jobs, has a bright and honest personality.

No, Lee Rang will fall in love with a mythical creature, a mermaid. Hong Joo had a crush on Lee Yeon for many years but it was unrequited, Mu Young had feelings for Hong Joo. Shin Joo will protect Eun Ho (who is Yuri`s look alike) but they will be friends.

I say it is a guest role but it will be good if he will appear more because the role of Dong Bang Sak is a funny and interesting character.

Lee yeon and Lee Rang won`t be enemies. They will have a confrontation the first time they will meet again but they will be on good terms with each other in this season. Lee Yeon will save Lee rang`s life in the first episode.

In my opinion they have more story to offer from the past than to make one on the present. The writer wants to tell how Lee yeon became mountain god or how it was to be one.

No,it will be further in the past. It will be in Joseon time. But it is not sure they will make the 3rd season.

They released a trailer today and it seems that Young Hoon will appear in the first episode as Dong Bang Sak.

It is not sure. Some fans recognized him in the script reading but he had a mask and they could be wrong. If he will appear it will be an episodic appearence as one of the mythical beings. Time will tell.

So far, from what I saw and read, So Yeon has an interesting character. Hong Jo is "cunning, bold, lovely, good at everything". I like her already. But I really hope the writer didn`t exagerate in her obsession for the hero. I am looking forward to watch her relationship with "her girls".

I did not watch the first season either but I will watch the second one. You`ll understand just fine without watching the first.

Maybe sometime later. Perhaps it is 2023 now and then travels back in 1938. I am curious why 1938. I hope they have an explanation that makes sense.
