Haha. Funny. He doesn`t control the time travel but now we know it was possible to skip time. Let see who is responsable or this time travel and for what purpose. From the leaked character descriptions we know that Lee Yeon and his friend, Gu Shin Joo, will travel back to 1938. Weird but let see the explanation.

The character desciption from Naver blog were translated on Twitter. This info was released by an advertising agency to get sponsorship for the drama. It is unofficial but it is so detailed that I think it could be real.

From the description, it looks like Hong Joo is the main antagonist to Lee Yeon. She has a crush on him but she hates him because she was rejected. I like that she is a grey character and I am looking forward to see what she has to show. Her animal is an Eurasian eagle-owl. It`s cute. I am praying the writer won`t reduce Hong joo as the obsesive woman who can`t get over the rejection. Please.... Don`t waste this female character potential. I want a powerful, confident, with a sense of humor lady, with her own agenda. If they did not find a better antagonist make her someone with a good reason not because of the unrequited crush. We`ll see.
If the descriptions are right I was right that Choi Mu Myong will be a tiger and that Kim Jong Ji`s character is a Korean independence activist.
It looks like Gu Shin Ju will travel back in time with Lee yeon. That`s a surprise and I am curious why such a time travel happends. I hope it will make it believeble.
The story will also cover:

- Lee Yeon and Lee Rang's father
- Lee Rang's short but passionate love story

The latest rumor (in Naver/Twitter) is that Lee rang `s fist love is a mermaid. The rookie actress Woo Hyun Jin plays a mermaid in the show. I don`t know if it is just a rumor or a wishful thinking of someone but I believe Lee Rang should have a love story in this season. Let see if it is true.

I am also curious about the Lee Yong Ji`s character in this season. I hope we`ll find out some informations about it.

We don`t have an official release date yet. There are some rumors that say it will be a May premiere but we`ll see. Previously it was February .

It doesn`t have romance between protagonists. Who knows? Maybe other characters will be involved in romance.

Me too. But it looks like this drama won`t be produced after all. Or maybe they did not give up the idea. We`ll see.

Yeah. I also want to not leave the plot hanging. It is not sure if there will be a third season and I don`t want unresolved issues. But I am curious why the time travel is backwards. In 1938 and later in earlier Joseon. Maybe things did not go as planed (Lee Yeon has not resolved anything and has another chance?)

I did not watch first season but I am curious why Lee Yeon has to go back in time. It will be good if he will change some events that will save his brother` s life but not change things in bad for others. Time travel is tricky. But if he can be there for his brother, to help him , to make up for the times when he felt abandoned, I am sure it will be a positive experience for both gumiho brothers.

I am excited about this. I loved both seasons. I would love to see the original main cast but I am OK if there will be another cast. I can`t wait to watch the third season.

I am so happy that they announced the third season. Of course I want to see Shi Mok and Yeo Jin again but I am fine if they chose another characters as leads. It looks like it will be a spin off.

I am interested in all of them because of the era too. I also think someone close to Lee Rang or Lee yeon will die. I suspect the character of Kim Yong Ji will die or someone close to Lee Rang.

No, you don`t have to change the "ship". You will still want to see Lee Yeon return to the his loved people in present time. The fans of the couple of season 1 can still cheer for them. The love story, the story where Lee Yeon is looking for the reincarnation of his lost first love was already been told. It would have beeen redundant to see it again. In season 2 (I assumed) the writer wanted to tell more about the folcklore, the mysterious word of supernatural beings, about other aspects in Lee Yeon`s life, to tell more about his brother etc.

It`s possible. Now let see if there is a connection between both characters (I supposed it is).

I am glad that she getting more first lead roles. I am looking forward to see her in `Chronicles of Crime`.

Yeah but the question is when. If he rescued her after 1938 you have the answer why she is not the same character. But that doesn`t mean she doesn`t have a conection to that fox. It is a fantasy drama and with all this reincarnation stuff everything is possible.

Maybe she plays a different character. I did not watch season 1 but I have the impresion that Lee Rang saved the gumiho played by Kim Yong Ji more recently and not in the begining of 20th century. If you watch season 1 you can share some light on this subject.
I personally want her to play a different character. Maybe a human, this time.

It is not a love story but I hope they still have a great dinamic as mountain gods, people with similar backgrounds. They are equals. They have a lot in common but differences too. Let see what the writer prepared for them.
