Yeah, Ep9 is just so annoying... that's why I just skip Ep9 when I re-watch this season.

I don't mind Naksu as much. At least there's some justification for her, she did lose all her memory. In any case she still does some gutsy stuff and show some quick wit.
However there's no justification for Jang Uk to be so slow.

You're right there's a lot of contradictory stuff that made no sense this season. I think its mostly because of Ep9 though. A lot of stuff Jang Uk does/say in Ep9 contradicts the rest of the season. For me Ep9 just derails the whole of S2.

So its an educated guess? If it is, that's a pretty accurate. Well Jang Uk is pretty quick on the uptake in S1 unlike in S2.

I thought this part is pretty odd too. Jang Uk does say some odd stuff in S2. 🤷

Mudeok is only a "disguise" Naksu decided to use since she's trapped in Mudoek's body. Jang Uk cant call her by her real name since she is a fugitive, so he just call her as Mudeok, which is the body's real name.
Additionally, to improve this disguise, Naksu often made herself look comical by using a funny speech pattern, with exaggerated village accent, tones, mannerism. She acts/speaks normally only when she is alone with Jang Uk, whom she trusts.

Question, In Ep6 during the flashback between Jang Uk and Park Jin, Jang Uk already knew Jin Mu and the Royal family were behind Naksu running wild and killing him. How did he find out about it ?

BY's soul still exists inside that body. BY is using Naksu's energy to recover her powers. Once she's done, she will kick Naksu out of her body.

Exactly my thoughts. Jang Uk used to be a cool grey character... Not anymore, now he's fully white. Its a let down.

I want to see her in action too. If she cant fight as a mage, then at least as a priestess.

The novel and the webtoon supposedly has a happy & satisfying ending. Do Jun gains control of Sunyang, and marries the prosecutor girl and started his own family.
I'm reading the webtoon right now, and looking forward to finishing it, after the nonsense with the drama ending.

Yes me too. That moment when he said to Yul, "I might have to slay her if I recognize her". I was taken aback. That was very out of character for Jang Uk. It was very sudden and with no prior development. Its unacceptable. Because of that when I re-watch this season I just ignore Ep9 just skip to Ep10.

Yes, it is not as exciting for us viewers, but it makes sense for her character arc. Because that sword represent the worst of her past. For instance when she briefly touch it in Ep3, she could see nothing but blood. I don't think Naksu would want to touch that sword ever again, especially since its the sword that killed Jang Uk. I'm really surprised Naksu didn't tell Jang Uk to throw it away or use other sword.

Is their height difference really that huge? The top of her head barely reach his chin lol

One part of S2 I really like is they didn't overdo Jang Uk's tsundere personality. Its true that Jang Uk is cold, but he's not a total asshole.. Each time he did/said something mean to Naksu, he redeem himself afterwards with acts of kindness that touch her heart and make her smile brightly. 😃
Even after such drastic change in both personalities, they're still a great fit for each other. 💖

Guys how is Naksu so good at drinking in Part 2? I remember in Part 1 she complained all the time that BY/MD's body is weak/useless and cant hold liquor at all.. She used to pass out if she drinks just a little bit, yet now she drinks all the time hahaha.

Just random thoughts, but have we actually seen Hwansu used in action? Like in a fight?
It got a lot of hype since S1. Its supposed to be a god level skill that allowed its user to transform ice to fire vice versa. Jang Uk has reached Hwansu level too. I wonder if the arrow he used to kill Firebird is actually a form of Hwansu?
