they made a lot of changes to the story and plot. for ex, in the webtoon there's no revenge plot between DoJun and Grandpa, but they add one in the drama which I don't like. But overall from ep1 to ep14 its still quite enjoyable since the acting is top quality. But the change they made in ep15 and ep16 is terrible and just derails the whole story.

Its not just Naksu who is a "new" person, Jang Uk is also "new". After the tragedy in S1, Jang Uk's personality has changed drastically. So Jang Uk and Naksu both fall in love with someone "new". Many people here already discussed how ep9 and ep10 are terrible. One of the reason is what you said above. Jang Uk and Naksu's love seems underwhelming in the end. This is inconsistent with what they show from ep1 to ep8. Especially in ep9 Jang Uk's response to finding that Naksu is alive is totally out of character. Personally I think ep9 just derails the whole romance of the show. Shame cuz the romance could've been awesome.
