Tbh, I wasn't really convinced of mama Jin's sudden return of sanity and her being content with Naksu walking…
The fact that JinMu was the one who caused the whole tragedy should be news thats spread accross the whole country. It would clear up a lot of hatred towards Naksu.

Season 2's storyline is so inconsistent.. JangUk dumbed down as well as Naksu. How he can utter the words about…
Jang Uk never believe Naksu killed her because of revenge. In fact Jang Uk never blame her. Instead he wanted to seek revenge for her. He was going to murder JinMu and Royal family whom he suspect were involved in killing her. He only stop because of Park Jin (Ep6).

Writing qualify is indeed really poor compared to S1. Charater inconsistency is a big problem. Jang Uk, for example,…
Indeed there are a lot of things mentioned that are never brought up again. Also a lot of things happening off screen. The show did a lot of telling instead of showing. I heard rumors that a lot of scenes have been shot but didnt make it to the final cut. In the end the story definitely suffers. I reckon its because of budget constraint. It was disappointing

Indeed its to easy, but its also poetic. Jin Mu want a world where the strong gain more power. In front Jang Uk,…
The dragon fight is underwhelming for sure, it was over way to quick. That thing was supposed to be the biggest and baddest mofo, yet it got oneshotted by Jang Uk. So disappointing.

Series 2 is ok. However I thought that the way Jang UK destroyed Jin Mu+ gang and also the dragon was too easy.…
Indeed its to easy, but its also poetic. Jin
Mu want a world where the strong gain more power. In front Jang Uk, JinMu + UA members are the weaklings, so its good to see them get immediately destroyed. This also showed why they were so afraid of Jang Uk in earlier episodes.

Two different relationships. In Part 1, Writers told us from the beginning it was not intended to be a "love at…
To say romance in S2 is only soul mate type is a bit unfair.
Because the romance itself didnt actually work that way. Jang Uk didnt immediately like Cho Yeong, while Cho Yeong persued Jang Uk becaue he's her savior. They only truly fall in after spending time together while beung in a marriage of convinience. I think the "soul mates" part is only supposed to be the cherry on top, so I dont mind that.

I agree, there are a lot of things happening off screen. Basically the show did more telling instead of showing.

The actions is indeed disappointing. We should've got some epic battles, instead we only got with a few skirmishes.
The action in S1 was way superior. The coreography in S1 was sick, while in S2 most of the moves are super simplistic. I reckon its because of budget constraint.

Am I the only one who felt this? Nakso was Jin Bu-Yeon, everyone knows.. Jang Uk didn't know anything until episode…
He had moved on, but luckily for him, he moved on to the same person.

I'm halfway through the last episode and I'm honestly annoyed. I can't take any of the deaths seriously because…
1. Uk and CP going in and out make sense, because they were let in and out by JSR. Jinmu getting out totally doesnt make sense.
2. I agree. It was way too easy, like a walk in the park. No tension at all.
3. I can forgive this part, since lady Jin basically showed JinMu around Jinyowon in S1

Just curious, how would you rate AOS as a whole if you combined Parts 1 and 2 into just ONE big story?
7.5/10 overall.
Should've been higher, but Part 1 was near perfect, Part 2 is way overrated.

I think I'm definitely in the minority here, but I feel like Season 2's writing and story was way worse than Season…
I agree. The writing quality is so poor compared to S1. We are in minority for sure. Because most people dont even care about writing quality, thats why S2 rating is so bloated.

The two main leads' chemistry had carried part 2, the story was a mess. This is what happen when the writer tries…
They wasted a lot of time showing Park Jin cooking and giving philosophy lesson. Could've used the time to develop the story instead.
