So the parents just willingly went to the roof ? for wreaths ???
They're just being polite and following him because he mentioned that Jin Man asked for a favor. The parents did find it weird also that the wreath would be placed on the rooftop. Additionally, they didn't anticipate having an assassin attend the funeral, as they were unaware of Jin Man's whereabouts or what he did for the past eight years.
the other was the policeman. The one who asked Ji Ahn to confirm her uncle's identity
the policeman definitely helped him to stage his "suicide", I'm not sure about the taxi driver. He could have known it also but he could be just picking up Ji Man from somewhere and then dropped him at home. Also I guess I'm also curious if Pasin, MinHye, and Brother know about the plan all along. I mean Brother would have seen what actually happened in the bathroom live
i think that jinman was fighting bale and babylon's head and he got ride of them ,thats why he was covered in…
The entire drama relies on flashbacks to flesh out character motivations, etc. It's weird for them to conclude the drama in such a manner. I'm quite certain they're doing this to secure another season.
Ji Ahn shot Sung Jo in the chest. He died, but not that a giant blade fell on him or anything like that. So who…
I absolutely love the poetic justice you mentioned in your comment! Also, to add to the second question, I believe it's implied that Sung Jo is widely recognized as one of the top assassins. The chopped-off head was likely used by Ji Ahn to demonstrate that she was capable of eliminating him, also showcasing her ruthlessness and proving she's not someone they can easily dispose of (i.e. just Jeong Jin Man's little niece), and would do the same to other assassins. This will instill fear in them and compel them to retreat and take her offer instead.
There was a military training in the area during that time, so the shootings and explosions could easily be mistaken as part of the training exercises. Additionally, it seems like communication was cut off. I can't recall who exactly, but someone mentioned not getting a signal on their phone. Moreover, it was noted that the assassins organization and even Jin Man's business worked with authorities. Also let's not forget that Jin Man's house is literally in the middle of nowhere.
What was with that short mentioning of another fight with Khitans and no scenes ( ep 24) I feel robbed 😅
There were approximately 3 attacks by the Khitans between 1015 and 1017, but all of them were smaller in scale and were repelled by Goryeo. I don't think they will be showcasing much of them in the drama since there are only 8 episodes left, and now we have another subplot to play out over probably the next 2 episodes. I think the last 6 episodes will be focusing on the third and final battle. The one that was shown at the beginning of the drama.
ahn se bin the little girl of Jeong ji an acting is so good she made me cry ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
YESSS!!! I'm impressed by how much acting she's conveying through just her expressions. She didn't say much or overact, yet I could feel her desolation, and when she finally called out to her uncle and cried... I found myself crying with her 😢
I don't know, tbh. Just seemed out of character and too easy if that's the way he died. I think he would have known that that's not Ji Ahn's voice and with the video got cut off before he was found dead by Jung Min, he could have staged his "suicide".
Jin Man took a picture of Ji An’s ID because he knew he needed her ID number then to reprogram his code at that…
Maybe it's a difference in subtitles, but I don't recall the friend suggesting a curtained morgue. He simply mentioned that the hospital where Jin Man's body is located is large but lousy inside, suggesting it would be better to hold the funeral elsewhere. He grew up in the area and feels deeply indebted to Ji Man for saving his and his family's lives, so it seemed to me that he was just trying to repay his debt to the niece of the man who saved him. However, at this point, every character could potentially be a friend or foe. I actually see the funeral driver as another character who could potentially be someone familiar with Ji Man's affairs, perhaps someone Ji An could have reached out to if she had chosen to run away instead. Just a wild speculation.
So are you watching it until the new episodes come out? Lol
I squeezed in episode 5 during breakfast, but life's demanding my attention now. Won't be able to catch the rest until later in the day. And the new episodes will drop around 3 or 4 pm my time anyway. So, I won't be the first in line, but hey, looks like I've got dinner plans already!🤣

the friend who took her to the cremation house and stood up for him is not a policeman. He's a taxi driver. The policeman at the morgue looked sus though. He seemed rushed to push Ji An into confirming her uncle's identity and expedite the whole process.

Also, I'm at episode 5, and seeing how it unfolds I'm convinced that....
