Season 1 and 2 are world's apart. The cast is alright but the story is just ....at best half hearted. It's like…
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of how season 2 has been unfolding so far. I liked how fast-paced it was compared to season 1, but now it's basically just sprinting towards the end. Characters are not given much room for development, and a lot of things are done in a "tell not show" way. I'm still somewhat forgiving about it because I think they were supposed to condense 2 seasons into 1, but even then, why did they have to introduce ikomahi when they still need to wrap up the children of the prophecy thing is beyond me. Unless they were hoping they could make that interesting enough to get a green light for another season.
I have lost all trust i had on eunseom's smart brain cells. I don't know why but i was expecting him to outsmart…
It's frustrating to watch Eunsom only ordering his people to capture Tagon when he knows that Tagon can easily outnumber a few people himself. Was he really that far away? I mean it looked like he can go there faster rather than racing down the hill. And I thought they were going somewhere with Karat's storyline... He's going back to his people, which made the Momo tribe join the war, but nah...
The creepiness factor just went up in this episode thanks to one of the characters, and it looks like we're headed…
So, MJ is smart, right? However, one thing that confuses me still is when the forensic doctor mentioned that he was the first "experiment" subject. I wonder if he chose Hye-eun as his adopted daughter because he thought she was smart (just like how he ended up choosing dr. Choi/Ro-hee's dad) and believed she had the potential to continue the research before the knife accident. As for MJ, maybe he was chosen as the experiment subject because the doctor wanted to test if the medicine/virus would work. It might have made more sense to try it on someone with a lower IQ to see if it had any impact at all. Perhaps the side effect, since it's still in the trial stage, was that it lowered his IQ but gave him super strength? He didn't seem that strong at the beginning.
I still think Hye-eun was the one who killed the mom, and the security ahjussi was the one who helped her cover it up. The police kept saying that it looked like two different murders with different suspects. The fact that the heater was on in the room where Dr. Choi's wife was found dead is still suspicious. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with obscuring the time of death so that a certain someone could have a solid alibi.
I'm still curious about Rohee's blackout as well, especially on the 20th. I hope the writer won't pull that twist where the main character turns out to be the murderer all along.
P.S. Please, cameraman-nim, stop with those lingering shots on Mr. Robot, getting my hopes up that he will eventually soften up and switch sides 🤣
The creepiness factor just went up in this episode thanks to one of the characters, and it looks like we're headed back to the status quo with a new ally (the one I've been waiting for) and a new enemy (?). I'm eager to find out if my theory from last week about who killed Ro-hee's mom is still on the money...
Oh yes I remember! 🤣...he just couldn't stay quiet in that episode. He got a little greedy when it comes to…
Yes, the one I remember the most was when he practiced it for the first time on camera in a public playground, and then his hands slipped, and he fell down. He was okay, but I think his pride was hurt more since they had built up that scene so much for him to finally succeed, but then he didn't. 😆
There are many differences between S1 and S2. Phasing, editing, soundtrack, camera filter, and script quality…
YES!! My main gripe about this season is the CAMERA FILTER as well. I'm slightly short-sighted, so the screen appears even blurrier to me. I don't know who thought that was a good idea to go for the dreamy effects in almost every scene. It's distracting.
maybe the rating will go up when it finishes airing. I personally never rate a drama until I finished watching all of the episodes, but it will be a 9 to 10 if it stays this strong.
It's been a week since I finished this drama, and I'm still wrestling with my overall score. On one hand, the mother-son relationship and the heartwarming found-family dynamic in the village, along with the touch of romance, earn a perfect 10 from me. These elements truly shine. However, I can't help but feel a bit disappointed by the revenge plot. While I acknowledge its role in propelling the narrative and adding suspense, I often found it distracting, detracting from the heart of the show.
Furthermore, towards the end, the plot seemed rushed and somewhat contrived, which unfortunately diminished the gratification of the long-awaited payback. Overall, it's a tale of two halves: heartfelt and endearing family dynamics on one side, and a somewhat underwhelming revenge plot on the other.
Could it be that Lawyer Choi was also the Dr's son at one time, that's why he is on Rohee's side? Also, the detective…
Yeah, I was thinking about that possibility as well. He could be one of the adopted kids who show potential. Ro-hee also said that if he helps them, she will make him the guardian of her assets to seal the deal.
Oh, I didn't understand the end of episode 7, I know they will probably explain it in the next episode but I don't…
The bags are filled with the ransom money totaling 30 billion won, which is spread around those 4 or 5 pickup points. I think Detective Park was there because Myung-joon called him about the plan they have for the ransom money collection (using the phone and the card that Ro-hee hid in her dinner box).
First he was on the female doctor's side, then on Jayden's side and now he seems like the villain acting alone.
iirc, Mr Robot was the one who let her know that Jayden is coming to Korea and told her that he (Jayden) wants everything sorted out by then. And then I think she was hysterical when she was on the phone with other investor (the old guy) and I don't think Mr Robot is around but I could have missed/forgot about that scene that you mentioned.
