seriously - they 'leak' that they are dating just a little over a month ago and now, wham! she's pregnant and got married - not that I care at the end of the day - they are all grown-ass adults - so all of this is just ridiculous PR work because fans are so unhealthily, obsessed with their actors

This would have been so much better if they had written the two female lead characters better. They were basically just plot ploys for the ML.
The FBI lady was completely useless/pointless - didn't provide any real help to anything and got almost everting wrong - even though she was supposed to be this genius FBI analyst and one of the surviving children who had NO super abilities like the others
Then there is the young female cop/colleague that they toyed with bing a love interest - but not really - she as well, was completely useless
Didnt really get the point of either character
One of the best characters was the Old Man - he was great and wonderful chemistry with the ML

Started this because I love the two main leads - but, phew! its kind of bad so far. cdramas have a way to go before they get the dark, gritty cop drama right. Had everything figured out from about episode 2 and so nothing to look forward - story became pretty boring and couldn't get that invested in any of the characters. And what was the point of the 'girlfriend'? Gonna put this on hold and come back to it later

He is the main ml - so a significant amount

Just started this and what a little gem of a find. My only negative so far is the younger sister - are they really going to go down the road of her falling for Commander Gu? Why do they all spoil her so much? its all kind of annoying - but the rest I am enjoying so far. Mostly because it is adults, acting like adults.
The way he looks at her is just the bomb - we all need a Commander Gu who stares at us with such adoration - its a beautiful thing!

Woow, just such lazy writing on this one. The same old story, not even told well. Can't really blame any of the actors for this one
The stupid sidekicks (especially the girl), eunuchs giving love/relationship advice (really - come on!), the man/woman who like the ml/fl and then go crazy when they don't reciprocate, the hard-as-nails on the outside, but turns out be soft on the inside ml meets the perky, go-lucky girl(soft-hearted, but kind of self-centered) and falls for her. I will at least give them that they didn't give her a baby-voice and didn't make her completely stupid.
Then there is the pledge your undying love and trust to then turn around the next scene to completely throw it out the window (usually the woman doing this)
And then, lets not forget all the old, creepy guys everywhere (her dad, the emperor, the mausoleum eunuch, the emperors eunuch to name a few)
I mean, it all just feels so canned and predictable - which makes it not very exciting to watch

I was all down for this until the whole religious/catholic prosecution part - I can't really feel any sympathy for an institution that is one of the most destructive things to indigenous cultures and populations. If you can get beyond that - it's not too bad. Good humor and main leads. I liked how they ended up.

really well done and one of the best dramas of the year - kudos to all the writers, production and actors - well done!
Probably one of the best mother stories, best evil queen dowager, the bond of the brothers is wonderful and if you aren't bawling at that ending - well, there is just something wrong with you (lol!)
I would add that also a great portrait of really how f*cked up the palace life was - seriously, f'd up!

overall a fun watch - as long as you aren't expecting much from it. All the actors did a fine job - it really was bad writing and plot holes that kind of ruin it.
I was thrown off right out of the gate with the whole Jin Bu Yeon/Naksu sharing a body thing - its JYB's body, but looks like Naksu, but no one recognizes her and in the end she's really the reincarnation of someone else - whaaaattt?!?!?! And I will reverberate the sentiment of spending the whole series waiting for the actual assassin NAKSU to show up (its her soul - so don't get why she wouldn't) - to be horribly disappointed in the end.

Just finished this up - it was quite the long-ass journey and felt like it took a lifetime to finish. Soooo slow, weird editing (especially the first half). So many side stories and characters (almost too many to keep track of). Killed off some of the best character for no real reason. Insufferable FL although good chemistry between the two main leads. Qin Jun Jei really carries the whole drama - really the only point of watching this.

Overall, I would say this is just ok.
I appreciate the attempt to tackle the issue of prejudice against divorce and women working (not done perfectly - but one of the better attempts at it)
I like both the main leads - but man, not feeling ANY chemistry between them and most of their intimate scenes even feel awkward
The brother/best friend marriage storyline is just dumb and pointless
Waiting for TJH to stand up to his mom and kick the princess to the curb
Waiting for FL to realize Pres Tang is not her friend
Another cdrama with horrible moms
I am on episode 28 and actually getting kind of bored - the legal dramas are kind of repetitive
And can we stop with the stupid side-kick friends that give the worst advice and do the stupidest things

Not the worst, but not that great either. doesn't really get interesting until the second half and another cdrama with a crap ending that just makes no sense (lets throw in a completely nonsensical plot twist in the last 30 mins - wtf!!)

On episode 11 and can't believe how incredibly stupid this is so far - they have already dragged out this amnesia thing way too long.
I get its just a plot line - but why everyone feels the need to play along with his delusion, instead of just continuing to remind hm of the situation and that what he is doing is so inappropriate - its just all so stupid.
Now into episode 14 - and really, the FL is going to get into a romantic relationship with a man she knows thinks he is someone else at this point - does she have any self-respect?? I am finding her quit pathetic at this point - that horribly mousey girl/woman with low self-esteem/insecure, that can't tell people no - hate this kind of character - especially as portrayed as the some sort of ideal love interest
Someone needs to have a serious convo with writers of cdrama romance stories about what healthy relationships look like - cause this is not it!
And what was with the last two episodes - just replaying the drama they acted in - that was just weird.

Into the security competition part and man - she is getting painful to watch - I don't understand why she doesn't just tell him why she wants to win/partake in the competition, goes and recruits Li Xun to the project without telling Old Gau - when she knows this is a sore spot for him - she's just awful (at this point)

oh, I know its a reality in their country - just saying I wish it would stop

Just started this and my god, this FL is annoying (in the college years) - she's that girl/person who just doesn't like being told they can't do something, doesn't know when to stop and just keeps making things worse - she's kind of obnoxious, bratty, childish and not a very clever person - hoping she gets better with age
A dear lord - all the ridiculous girls falling over themselves for the 'cute' boy - can someone please write these so that girls/young women are shown having some dignity - its just embarassing

This was just ok for me - only because I don't really care for the whole zombie thing - just not my cup of tea - but if you like zombie things - this is probably for you. I only really watched because I like so many of the actors in it and they don't disappoint!

My thoughts exactly - I wanted to throw things at my screen - I mean seriously, all of that - just to give it up at the end. Of course, its all part of the cliffhanger (that we probably won't get to see the resolution to) - but, gah!!

Just stumbled across this and it was so good! It could have been a few episodes longer (not a full 30+ episodes) - just to make the ending better - but than, som e serious chemistry between the leads - plot was new (again, a few more episodes to fill that out more would have been nice - like what happened to her sister and the real Shen Qin, etc..) - otherwise, well done and worth the quick watch.

only on episode 6 - but not sure I can finish this one - my god - who wrote this drivel!
This female character so far is just annoying so far - jumps to every wrong conclusion, clueless about the guy friend, overthinking everything, doesn't listen - what, all because she liked a guy for a long time, didn't bother to tell him, made a public confession (that he didn't see) - thought he ran off (again not the reason he left) and is now soooo traumatized by this that she has become an idiot
This character also feels a bit like a man wrote how he thinks a female thinks
