Actually one of the main reason I keep watching this drama because of him, he looks so good (not talking about his acting thou...). But, I don't like his character that much. He's good, but some of his actions can make the others misunderstan him. Like when he gave the lamp to Xie Lingwei and told Xie Lingwei to tell him when the lamp was broken so he could help buy it. Pretty much, I understand that he did that because he didn't want the FL to get in trouble. However, such actions can cause misunderstanding if he likes Xie Lingwei.

so true. He shouldn't be rude and abusive to his wife. At the very least, if he was sure, that he "didn't love her", he should give her respect as a human being. Even though he knew for sure that his wife was mute, it would be very easy for other people to misunderstand her and it would be difficult for her to defend herself or explain what she meant to other people. No, the ending was good. But, maybe because of an annoying support female role, and the plot change in ep 19-21, they give the low rating. For me it's a 9

I bet you will, because from the synopsis some things change such as his focus more on conflict with aunt dong, and (apparently) the scene of Xiao Wu dying to save the hand was dropped which became an important point that made the hand and his friends start everything in the second part (go to sea god island, etc.)
