Brace yourself. Ep10 is possibly the most horrific episode so far. It will clarify why these specific people became…
Leila disappointed me so much this episode. I defended this girl and was disgusted with everyone for hating on her. I understand that she’s angry and has every right to be. But being upset to the point that she thinks her little sister deserves to get raped is too far for me. Does she know Lilly got raped?
Bew being a rapist, because his dad beats him. Maybe dude should focus that pent up frustration on finishing college, finding a job and moving away from his dad instead of you know, raping and having sex with underage girls. I’m usually very sympathetic of people with childhood trauma and who come from a bad home, but I can’t with Bew. WTF is wrong with this dude. They need to cut off his D already, so he can’t go around harming anymore girls.
After what happened to the girls and these people turning a blind eye on them, I totally understand why they’re out for revenge and why every single person on that island are targets. Well, other than Dan so far. They should do something about that teacher too though while they’re at it.
Sonar is like the big sister Lilly never had, and Dan really cared about her (unless something else gets revealed about him). Other than the lack of love and attention from her own family, she could still have had a great and loving family with other people. Family don't always have to be blood. At this point, I'm more invested in seeing what happens to their characters. Most likely will be tragic, but I'm following them to the end.
Also, low key ship Sonar & Lilly. They should have been the GL couple, although that would probably traumatize me and reinforce the misconception that women are lesbians because of bad experiences/past trauma with men. I guess it's a good thing that they're not then. They remind me a lot of the bond between the 2 women in "Promising Young Woman". Someone described them as soulmates, and Sonar and Lilly have that same vibe. Soulmates don't always have to be about romantic love.
Almost everyone coming from dysfunctional families making selfish choices that negatively affects one another. The original villains are basically their parents.
While I understand why everyone hates Leila, damn, she didn't even do anything to anyone. Homegirl lives an oppressed life under her dad's power and can't do anything she wants. These people hating on the wrong person.
Did Bew rape Lilly, too? That dude needs to continue living with his amputated fingers and D and listen to his dad daily talk about how ashamed he is that his only son is no longer a man without his D. Death would be too easy an out for him. I know Bew comes from a dysfunctional family too, but he's the most messed up out of all of them. You don't go around raping girls, let alone underage girls, you as*hole.
What Nest did isn't right, but Sonar and Lilly would not be on this killing spree had they not been raped. Or at least Sonar wouldn't be, I don't know what happened to Lilly yet. Both would have totally been fine with Leila dead especially Lilly. That girl would thrive. Other than Mac, I don't think anyone else really cared about Leila dying.
As much as I love and adore the main characters, l have to drop this after 5 episodes. I just don't feel like anything significant is going on. The women and teenager running a prank on the principal by giving him some laxatives. It's cute but at the same time, I'm just like that's it? I like comedies, but I also find myself not really laughing at anything here. I just don't feel anything at all watching this.
It hits far from the likes of Sky Castle, Goddess of Revenge & Mystic Pop-Up Bar in terms of powerful female leads and comedy. I think it was recommended over on Goddess of Revenge because of the lead female characters.
This one is either gonna be really delayed or cancelled altogether. They changed the IG page completely to the GL which they and the actresses are still consistently promoting.
She's so under-rated especially among the GL fans given her support for the community.
For her graduating thesis, she directed a GL play, translated the script, worked the lights and basically a lot of heavy lifting. It's one of the nicest GL plays that exists in the Asian GL realm. She even gave us a happy ending during a time when for some odd reason, sad & traumatic GL endings was all the rage among creators. It kinda still is... but at the time of her play, there was like little to no happy endings. She was aware of how little happy endings we got.
She's well versed in Korean GL dramas lol. Probably the Thai ones too, since she's a Thai actress afterall.
She follows and supports a well known Thai GL couple and most Thai actresses who have taken on GL roles.
Homegirl popped up with her friends into a yuri book cafe to show her support.
Her dream is to become a producer, and honestly, a channel that wants to create a GL drama needs to give the girl a shot behind the camera to direct one.
7.5-8.5/10. If you've ever watched anything by Park Chan-wook (OldBoy), it's around there or a little less. The story is paced well, so you'd find out whether you like it within the first few episodes.
Few things that I wanted more closure with in the end. Min Joon and Hera didn't get a sweet moment, although they were the main couple. Their relationship was so built up that I would have at least appreciated a hug or something in the end.
Tae-On and her assistant. Why was her assistant so loyal to her? I wish there was a bit of a backstory on that. Even a flashback. Strong missed out GL ship they could have built on there.
I don't think this is a spoiler, since it's already revealed in the trailers. The mom and daughter are sleeping with the same man. Despite liking the cast, that's on some next level of trash I'm not willing to watch or support.

Leila deserves a proper flashback for herself.
I don't think this needs a spoiler tag, since it's already revealed in the trailer.

Drama filled with strong female characters all around and different in their own ways.
