It’s so sad to always see Botan with bruises on her face.
Guessing that Mae Ratree doesn’t want scratches on Kulab’s face, because if something happens to her face, her value will go down and they’ll have to accept sadistic guests for her. So long as her face being pristine is of value, they won’t have to accept those guests for her.
I hope the photo on X isn’t a dream sequence. I need it to be part of the actual ending after everything.
Teinyod, girl getting her virginity auctioned and that crazy man would be her first. They would practically be sending the girl to her death.
I really like how the girls are prostitutes, Ra-an is gay, and Kuea is higher class, but they all just treat each other like humans. Ra-an being gay isn’t even a big deal to anyone or even a deal at all. The girls treat him like their fellow girlfriend & Kuea treats him like a trustworthy friend who works for him. Their scenes are so well placed in between all the oppression.
There's a major spoiler photo from what seems like the ending on X with speculations as to what happened to a character.
I like it so far and with 8 eps, it doesn't seem like the pace is going to slow down. At first, I was worried that the teaser/trailer gave out too much, but they're mostly scenes from the first episode, and there's more to those scenes than they appear. That was a huge relief. I really don't like the super long trailers nowadays (8-10m long is REALLY pushing it) that give out the entire story.
Also pleasantly surprised and happy to see Milli singing the OST for this as she's made a legend of herself in her own right. They picked the perfect person for it given the story.
It's been so long since we've had a Thai drama about women having each other's back. The last ones I remember are GMM's PS I Hate You (2022) & ONE's Ley Luang (2021). So in 2023, there wasn't any, that I know of anyway. Otherwise, I would have watched it.
The good guys: Getting in each other's way The bad guys: Follows the one prick with daddy issues
Up to ep8, still good. Thi is intelligent but still naive and very emotional. Rin is also very naive but is super sweet. The judge guy is so logical & calm compared to everyone. I like him a lot. I feel like Thot might be the smartest in this entire match-up, but he's not showing his hand yet and it leads Thi & Rin to distrust him. Not sure if it's logical to keep his hand a secret or whether it's just convenient plot device to divide them for the time being. I feel so bad for the dad.
The bad guy, Chatchawin, guy is disgusting. Death would be too easy for him. Nike is doing an excellent job portraying the character. I feel like many actors just deliver their lines or "feel" their character which imho is not enough. Nike expresses the character with his facial expressions and body language. Look at the scene of him visiting Thi's dad -- amazing. I'm not a fan bc I usually don't like his roles, but he is a goddamn great actor.

Pretty good so far. They really loaded the supporting cast with all the best actors. The only prominent female character here is the FL though. Maybe because most of the characters are either very cruel or getting beaten up.
The pace is great. At first I was apprehensive that this would drag later on with 18 eps. But since it's a Korean thriller remake, it's likely going to stay engaging.
The FL is super sweet, caring and supportive. She's also strong-minded and not a pushover.
Hoping Thot tells Tee why he did what he did soon and that their misunderstanding doesn't lead Tee to doing something to Thot that he'll regret. It is sweet that all the senior guys are protective towards their juniors. Thot's uncle towards him and now Thot towards Tee. I like their dynamic a lot.
I really don't like weak villains who are the spoiled kids of rich and powerful parents. Basically, the story is about them making a mess and mommy/daddy cleaning up after them. The villain in The Killing Vote is the same. If you're big enough to murder someone, you're big enough to clean up your own mess. These types of villains are so lame and pathetic that I can't respect them as villains. Nike is doing amazing in the role however.
I loved the character Luna so much in Maestra that I looked up the actress. And OF COURSE, she's the same actress who played Yuna in World of My 17. Please I need this girl in more dramas. She would be great as one of the main leads in #Killstagram, if it ever becomes a Kdrama.
Their story looks like it could be sad. One has a heart condition and possibly cancer. The other pretends to be femme in order to work as a Pretty and help pay for treatment. Will probably finish watching this, if their story isn't too tragic.
BK will show in Hong Kong & have official CHN subs. There will definitely be EN subs. The unknown is whether ONE will make it available while BK is airing.
