DIRECTOR IS AN LGBTQ PERSON. ACTRESS IS AN LGBTQ WOMAN. LET IT RAIN REPRESENTATION.

I know nothing about the novel. Heard there will be bickering, & I need that to happen for about half the series. Gimme that 'I hate you' to 'I love you' trope that lasts for more than 10m PLEASEEEE.
I don’t know anything about the novel. Just skimming through here about ppl having issues with the age gap. Even as a Thai drama fan who is used to this, I feel it’s a valid criticism. Just bc something is common in a country, doesn’t always make it right.
Most often w the age gap, the younger person is usually portrayed as mature on par w the older person like in The Fallen Leaf (also an LGBTQ drama w similar age gap & relationship dynamic). So no one who is a usual Thai drama fan really notices it. In reality, I feel that’s not the case especially when there is more than a 10 year age gap. It doesn’t matter if they’re both adults. The maturity level and life experience just don’t match up most of the time.
BUT if they’re both consenting adults, that’s their life and their choice. Sometimes that imbalance isn’t something that is a huge problem in the relationship depending on what you’re looking for. If all you are looking for is someone you are comfortable being yourself with, who you love and loves you, both have healthy relationship expectations and are able to maintain healthy and mature communication, etc, then an age gap may not be a problem. You can’t paint a broad stroke on everyone.
Anyway, I’m going to give this a try. Worse case scenario, I just waste a couple hrs if it’s bad.
Finally, a serial killer GL drama. Don't judge me lol.
TV Thunder is the same company that does Saneha Stories, right? I think they're one of the few Thai companies that has done a story with an asexual character. I've always respected them for that. Nice to see them on board for this.
For those new to Thai dramas & worried about triggers, there is usually a warning at the beginning of every episode. There will be a cut and uncut version. So you might consider watching the cut version which is usually posted on Youtube. You won't be missing anything from the storyline other than the graphic stuff.
I'm actually debating about which version to watch myself. Will probably begin watching the uncut version first and if it gets to be too much, switch to the cut version.
Official English title seems to be "Bangkok Blossom". Story is about three sisters (not blood related) standing up and fighting for their rights and freedom out of slavery.
Very impressed with Engfa and Jeff for taking on their roles at an extremely challenging location in the mountains with seriously hot burning sun rays and a lot of dust. With their popularity, they could have taken on easier roles or projects. Curious to see what this story is about for them to have accepted it.
This is pretty good so far. I binge watched 3eps in one day. Give 2 eps a try. 1st ep is the backstory/setup, and all the main characters are introduced by ep2.
Expected Engfa and Goy to collab at some point but not this soon lol and add in Aom too, female cast is solid. Ever since the drama with Marie, One is finally having female centered leads again in at least 3 upcoming dramas starring Engfa, Mai and Baifern. Sounds like they might be in the same project but different stories. Not sure if the stories will be connected in some way. Would be amazing if so.
Really hoping they're about strong women facing and overcoming adversities during their respective eras.
yessss so many gay girls. only two things that bother me a bit. one is the "baby boy" in the song. they should have changed it to "baby girl" or just drop the gender altogether, if they want to both use the song for the series and also have the song appeal to a wider audience.
it's pretty good so far for a gl school drama. i do wish their obstacle was something other than people who are crushing on them sabotaging them. i watched the teaser trailer months ago and honestly was turned off by it. but after watching ep1, i like the series so far. just hope it doesn't go in too strong with the petty sabotaging misunderstanding stuff.
Club Friday trailers and synopsis give away wayyyy too much of the story. I really wanna watch Pat and Aelm but will wait for their next projects instead. Everyone just seem like terrible people in this one even the guys getting cheated on who seem to eventually cheat on her with her best friends. You'd think that "oh yea, that's what she gets", but it honestly just looks like a negative cycle of backstabbing and infidelity, with no one truly winning in the end.

Edit: Dropped at ep10. Got repetitive sadly.
