Let's hope the third wlw story of the season is a better one. The first one felt so sleezy that I didn't even bother watching it outside of the highlights. The second one, while it has a happy ending, the mc has enough flaws for me to drop it.
ONE seems to really like Nana, so maybe they'll give her a good story here.
The best GL of the season was actually not a GL lol. It's my fav story of the season. One of the main actress is actually one of us. I loved her acting in another drama (Thong Prakai) and had no idea. If you're ok with platonic soulmates, give it a shot:
Club Friday Theory of Love: No Such Thing as Coincidence
When they wake up in the morning, and P'Ploy tells Pun her hair's messy. She actually says something like your hair's so messy, like a pot scrubber š They're so cute.
Is there any other good ones from 2024 to now? Iāve seen like hua jai sila etc but stopped watching after as…
Depends on what you like. Since you enjoyed Huajai Sila, hereās a few you might like.
The Giver ā Also stars Tor. Very entertaining especially towards the end from what I remember. Super sweet and healthy main couple. Fans of Huajai Sila & Tor seem to really like it.
Thicha ā Both ML & FL have traumatic childhoods. FL wants to take revenge on MLās family after what his mom does to her family. Does so by getting close to ML.
The Twin Gambit ā Cute & fun, healthy main couple. Charming ML, fiery smart FL. Both have a passion for fashion. FL wants to compete for a spot at ML's company but gets anxiety every time she sees him because of what happened in their past, she gets her twin sister to present her project for her.
The Yarns ā Dark drama, mystery, mild romance (healthy, endearing). Cop ML with autistic intelligent FL solving serial murder mystery. Last 10m of ending is kinda eh, but not bad enough to take away from the entire show. If you donāt like mystery, detective genre, skip.
If you havenāt yet, also check the recommendations on the Huajai Sila's drama page.
I absolutely love the guy group. They're such ride or die friends. The actors playing Jock & Dung were so charming and funny. I've never seen Point in a comedy, and whoever thought to cast him here is genius. Tre showed why he's one of ONE's top actors. Guy had a bunch of gay girls on TEAM PI. Iāll wait to see his next project, bc I am not happy w his ending here lol.
Phing & Bam friendship was so promising, but I feel like their trio -- Phing, Bam & Dan was ruined by the love triangle. I hate love triangles. I hate it even more when it's bwn besties or siblings. It would have been significantly better if the two guys had been paired with the two girls separately.
Some of the jokes involved wordplay, so I wonder if it carries well when translated. There was also a joke that unless you're versed in Thai ent, will go right over most people's heads. I don't think it can be understood translated without a paragraph explanation. So in this regard, I feel it's a drama more targeted towards a Thai audience.
The show unfortunately suffered from two major setbacks in production -- the replacement of the ML and the passing away of one of the antagonists. So I think that may have affected Dan's character and the ending.
All in all, this was a light and fun watch. If you like mystery, light drama, comedy and strong friendships, you might like this. For romance folks, this might be a pass for you.
8/10
As always, I appreciate ONE trying different storylines and characters and look forward to their next dramas.
Ep1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBev7bqm67sOSTA Loving Heart by Kongthap Peak - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k903wBqs0vUEndless…
San Rak tells the story of Madam Meuy Trongphanit, who dearly loves and worries about her three sonsāRak, Rawee, and Ronakorn. She hopes to find good wives for them after they graduate. However, Rak secretly visits a brothel after being persuaded by Chen, the stepson of Teokae Jiw (his father from China). Rak ends up contracting a disease, misses his exams, and has to repeat the year. On top of that, he gets Janram, the housemaid, pregnant and refuses to take responsibility. Janramās father becomes furious and spreads the news of Rakās wrongdoings at his school in Bangkok, leading to Rakās expulsion.
Meanwhile, Rawee falls in love with Ranee, the only niece of Khun PissamaiāMadam Meuyās archrival. The couple struggles to maintain their relationship. Rawee must prove himself before Pissamai eventually allows her niece to date him. His final challenge is to reveal his relationship to Madam Meuy.
Rak reluctantly marries Janram. To resolve the chaos, Madam Meuy sends all three sons to study abroad. Ranee also follows Rawee to continue her studies, and the two secretly keep their relationship. Unbeknownst to them, Ronakorn also harbors feelings for Ranee.
We going into ep5, and I still have no idea who killed Bam. Thoughts below >>
I think the manager guy stole the money. I think it's too obvious for Kru to kill Bam. Bam was his trump card against Phing after all, so wouldn't it make sense for him to keep her alive until he gets his money back from Phing and either keep using Phing or get rid of her. Or did Kru's ppl accidentally kill Bam bc she was resisting them abducting her?
I want the murderer to be a total surprise but also make sense.
ONE is starting to promote for this. So excited! Gimme the fierce family rivalry drama I've been waiting for this year -- power plays, backstabbing, manipulation. ONE, please, I beg.
The cast is INSANE too -- two gens of leading actors and the new gen. Also, the Bride of Naga cast reunion lol.
I skipped a previous one with the two women sharing one man. The highlights alone just felt sleazy and exploitative.
I was actually planning to watch this for the main couple anyway. I didnāt know the moms were lovers too. One of the moms seem really toxic, and I just hope her character doesnāt fall into harmful stereotypes like the āman-hating lesbianā or the idea that ābad experience with men turned her gay.ā
That went darker than I expected. I love it. A Season 2 would be great, but I'm pretty satisfied with the ending as it is, too.
I absolutely love OneD Originals for trying out different storylines and characters. Casting did a superb job. Everyone acted and suited their characters so well.
According to her interview, she's been w GMM for 13 years. Since she's 29, she feels like it's her time to go esp w GMM being more youth oriented. She also wants to pursue her own path and be able to create things on her own. Right now, one of those things is music.
She's thankful to GMM and would be happy to collaborate w them in the future should the opportunity present itself.

That videogame scene is so creative.
Cast and production team are amazing. I love ONE for this.
