The ending was definitely made to leave us thinking and it did. Which was traditional for ADWAD. Can’t wait to see my brother’s take on that scene when he finishes it 😄

I loved her too. She was amazing as SYM. It was def her acting that made me understand where she was coming from.…
I like watching character development. As nice as it is having a likeable FL from the beginning. How boring would it be if she never changes? If she stays the same the whole drama then what is the point? I like when the fl goes thru her own arc and becomes more of her own person. SYM did.

A little off topic but I find it interesting how two of my favorite characters main character songs depicting their love for the FL are very similar:

Nan Heng's- A Dream Within a Scroll:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqRYs5_IN84

Fan Yue's (Moonlight Mystique)- Love Without Regrets:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPc_GAVLUr8

Both characters share similar characteristics that's why their songs are similar. They both are emotionally damaged. cold, distant, seen as villains when they are not. Their love for their FL changes them completely and makes them better people. They'd do anything for the woman they love and that's perfectly portrayed in their songs. & That's why both of these ML's are in my top favorite Male characters ever.

while Liu Yuning shines brighter and brighter in his role as Nan Heng (words it’s not enough to PRAISE him—…
I loved her too. She was amazing as SYM. It was def her acting that made me understand where she was coming from. While a lot of others failed to understand her (ok her writing was not the best til ep 32) Li Yi Tong's micro expressions and acting always made me care about Yimeng. Yes, even when SYM was being stubborn and annoying. This is the first time I've seen LYT in anything, but she's definitely made me a fan. She was also the perfect partner for Liu Yuning I loved the way they played off each other especially the emotional scenes ex eps 23 & 26. I loved both the FL and ML equally in this.
I loved how she wasn't the traditional, fall at the ML"s feet, kind of FL. While I love those FL's too, I like when they are different. I like how fiesty, spunky and fiercely independent she was. Although Yimeng loved Heng she doesn't let that control her. She has a higher purpose and she follows thru. Despite that tho, once she fully gives into her love for him. she loves him completely and deeply, fights for him and tries to keep him safe the most she can.

Title A Dream within a Dream Spoiler
I rewatched the ending and I have different thoughts now,
After it's revealed that both worlds are indeed fictional. The scene goes back into the story book SYM asks NH what if we are living in a dream within a dream and both are fictional worlds. NH answers then we keep fighting against our fate. FFWD to the post credit scene. While I originally thought that was NF with his NH memories, now I think it was NH. That's why the portal behind him when he shows up. I'm guessing SYM disappeared from his side when SXY woke up back in her world. NH probably had to fight his way to find that portal to her and I have no doubt he did, of course. And like someone said yesterday the story was about SXY/SYM & NH not SXY/NF. Some were worried that they worldnt make it work in the modern world but since it is a fictional world they can plus. Song Xiaoyu learned to live in Nan Heng's world, he certainty can too.
Love how they left that scene up to interpretation. It works in any way you want to take the ending for.

Our girl took a whole lot of convincing. Like her sister said, NH had to go 99% and she went 1%. But once together,…
Finally then she was not afraid to commit herself to him anymore.

I love TPOB to bits, but the fight choreography in that drama was a huge letdown. In this drama, the fight choreography…
I was the same. Then there was the rumor that Lusi would be back but Ryan wouldn’t. If that was three case I’m happy they never made it as much as I wanted it.

I want it to go higher! So far all the reviews are high praise that have completed it.
I’ll be so happy if it reaches 8.7

Wow Nan Heng have just became my favorite male character of all time. The aura, the charisma, the masculinity,…
He's definitely my favorite LYN character. Hard to top Nan Heng to be honest for me.

Another thing that I loved even if it was only 8 eps is that they got married and stayed married to the end. You don't see that a lot in these kinds of dramas unless it's specifically arranged married drama. TBH I wasn't sure if they were going to get married haha. Example in both Moonlight Mystique & Lost You Forever they don't get married til the last episode. I know that's Xianxia but this one had a bit of fantasy too.

Episode 36 is too darn depressing. I need some relief from this storyline.
You’re in for more pain, give it til ep 39.

hey guys could someone plz spoil mewhen did both leads get together?any love triangle?any breakup?
Ep 32
No real break ups because they’re not together til ep 32. Lots of misunderstandings before that’s what keeps them apart for most of the drama.
. After they get together they never break up.
A little in the beginning, not a real triangle

What I loved in last 6 eps...35 - Fugui speaking to NH. Bad scene and talking about hairpin was so hilarious and…
I think most of us think that's NF with his NH memories. Very The Tiger of Romance and Rose. BUt if it's meant to be NH it works too. I really think the portal is there to represent that he transmigrated too. If not he would have come from somewhere else not the building. Tho both worlds were fictional in the end, I'm glad the wirer gave them a happy end in both worlds.

LOL the hair pin moment in ep 35. That's true in a lot of those bed scenes neither the ML or the FL take off their head pieces- hilarious. Like in Moonlight mystique she's wearing that humongous thing when they do it. Have to wonder if it was real life had it pricked him or did BL actually pick ARP with that thing? XD.
