TBF ratings and comments aren't always accurate. :). Still, I tried watching and didn't like i It seemed interesting but I dunno the writing and editing really harmed that drama.

Maybe I'll rewatch it again, once I'm more in the mood. But good that she matures. Like my biggest problem with CDrama is the childish, naive FL's. That's why I loved this one because neither Yetan or Qingkui are childish or naive(QK's naivety is different.)

Sucks that they did that. I watched up to ep 5 and couldn't handle the childish FL but some of the other scenes from previews looked interesting. Then got ruined after ep 23 smh.

I read comments on the Journey of Chong Zi page and it looks like censors have cut out almost all the romance/kiss scenes in that drama. Even harmless ones. Could be why they removed simple cheek kiss from this one. It makes no sense why, but it feels like the censorship in China is too strict. At least we're lucky that most of the romance in TSLhas been left intact. I feel bad for fans of TJoCZ that drama is not that good to begin with and for the romance to be cut out? I dunno. I understand that master-disiple relationship is taboo but maybe don't make it if it's gonna be treated that way?
I'm just glad that YQ & YT and CF & QK's scenes haven't suffered that kind of censorship. I hope they don't in the remaining episodes.

Who would have thought this all-mighty deity would be so in love with a mere mortal? I wonder if he would have fallen this deeply in love with Qingkui had the switch never happened. Who knows but it would have been interesting to see how that would have worked. The pain is coming YT is gonna get hit from all sides. I just want to protect her.

I doubt we're gonna understand that pos. From spoilers he's gonna get worse. By that time, he probably already knows that his son loves Yetan but he intends to kill her anyway not caring how Youqin feels. Even without emotions a normal person would feel just like YQ did he had emotions just didn't understand them. But the Emperor feels nothing if he's willing to sacrifice his son/children he's just a monster.

LMAO at Qingkui trying to cover those Youqin missing person posters. I love her. Anything to protect her little sister and her husband. Also the cafe scene with Chaofeng and Qingkui was intense! But they have to get interrupted hahaha.

I get that YQ's siblings meant well but they made everything worse.

The scenes between LaMu and Yetan are so precious. Their chemistry is top notch. Lamu is definitely so endearing, I love him so much. And having already seen Youqin's confession scene in ep 26 his in love persona definitely stemps from Lamu's shard that's where all of Youqin's emotion is. Having seen this ep, yes his shards are falling in love with her fast because he was already in love with her before his death. Same for her because she loved him too. One shard down 2 to go.

Honestly tho I love both couples so much. Yes, YQ and YT own me just a tad more but CF and QK give me what I need to love them just as much as the main couple.

eh. it was ok. I don't think this will live up to the hole MSP left in fans hearts. BookForce really have it hard first BB now MSP. Anyways I do feel like this character fits Book more tho his acting is still bad. Force is definitely the better of the two. I'm still not feeling it between them except for that forced chemistry moment at the end. The Starry Love is really taking my time rn could be also why I'm having a hard time getting into series haha. Anyways I'll keep watching because I don't like dropping once, I start unless it's really bad. And I really want to give them more of a chance.

CF and QK are getting all the angst right now 😭. They need a break. While YQ and YT get all the peaceful and sweet moments. I guess it’s because during the mortal arc and Youkin’s death, they had the angst. The writers wanted to give them a break before it all goes to hell. And per spoilers/trailers etc. it will soon. Yet CF and QK do get lighter moments here and there, they are definitely the more angsty couple so far.

Amazing! This drama deserves all the love it’s getting.

I think that fight with the twins and the fathers is towards the end like the last 3 or so episodes. Which makes me think Qingkui will be resurrected. Also my theory of Youqin and Chaofeng becoming sorta friendly looks to be happening. Look at them standing together next to their girls. YQ is also wearing black so I wonder if he’ll leave the Heavenly Realm for Yetan. The Heavenly Emperor was right about one thing YQ will become dangerous but that’s because his own father threatens YT.
