As much as I am liking Love of the Divine Tree. MM sullied me because I can't get into anything as much as I was into MM. Probably going to take a long time for that to happen again. I guess once my Thai BL cp's series comes out that's when I'll be able to love something as much again. Unless another xianxia or Cdrama makes me obsessed until then.

I love how Powerful Su Yishui is and the writers let him be powerful.
If I have one gripe with Moonlight Mystique is that although Fan Yue was a powerful demon, they never really let him show it except for some occasions. I guess it was because of the curse he had on him. I'm glad that LOTDT lets the ML be as powerful as he can be.

I was reading that Bai Lu rejected another drama for this one back in 2023-2024 I think it’s called Si Jin. The info can be found on that dramas forum btw. Mostly because it was very similat to SOKP which she had just done. Plus she was way more interested in MM’s script. Whatever she felt when she read the script, she was right! She had an eye and in a way probably knew it was going to be a hit just by reading how good the story, characters and love story was. She picked a good one and she should be and is probably very proud of everything Moonlight Mystique accomplished.

Woe that’s amazing. BL, ARP and the rest of the cast and crew should be so proud of what they accomplished here.
